Business partners Stern and Yare run a firm designing vessels for unsuspecting clients, but when they receive a particularly compelling commission, their work ethic is sorely tested.
This is an excerpt from my story for Smut Peddler: Sordid Past, Iron Circus Comics' history-themed anthology of high-quality raunchy comics. It's on sale for 50% off today in the Iron Circus shop!
If you're looking for other books to splurge on during their sale, I'd highly recommend @tealin's The Worst Journey in The World, @jerzydrozd's The Inscrutable Doctor Baer, and @maria-c-f's The Chancellor and the Citadel.

FML #1 is about a group of metal kids who face a medley of bizarre foes and encounters in Portland, Oregon during a worldwide pandemic. But musical stardom needs to compete with high school, the temper of a former Riot Grrrl mother, the morbid obsessions of a goth sister, and…

this has been about 90% finished for such a long time lmao, but hopefully the wait was worth it!! omg it was so fun drawing Link in this armour, it's one of my top faves for sure - HE JUST LOOKS SO GOOD ASFJGHDK
It's been a while since I posted here but hey, I wrote a book. PIRATES: A GRAPHIC HISTORY (But not THAT kind of graphic) is now available for preorder on Kickstarter. The title pretty much says it all... It's an all ages graphic novel about the history of buccaneers, brigands and other assorted barnacled baddies. Did I mention it's also a humor book?
Head to the campaign page for the full story, preview pages and the rundown of all the reward tiers available. The project funded in under a day but we're nearly at the halfway point for stretch goals. You can find it at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/silvaniart/pirates-a-graphic-history-but-not-that-kind-of-graphic
Hello artsy fans!
My partner in comic crimes has spent the last 5 years researching and writing and pencilling this GN and it’s a corker of a read. He’s crowdfunding this to pay for printing and even paying for a pro colourist if enough stretch goals are hit. So if you love history with a healthy dose of Pythonesque satire, Go check out the kickstarter and get on board before yer pressganged!
Ok wow, it’s finally here!
The Sarah Scribbles Hidden Art Game!
We've literally transformed my art into a world that you can explore for free. Your task is to find every cat hiding in each layer of this world. Just when you thought it was over... BAM! Another cat. 🐈⬛
If you need a 5-minute break to relax, check it out and let me know what you think in the comments and feedback form!
P.S. Send this to your favorite cat person (everyone knows one!)
Hey, friends! I’ve worked on a cozy card game, and it’s out now!
Self Careless is a relatable game for 1-2 players where you are trying to balance a day in your life.
You have 12 turns (or 12 hours) to organize your day, along the way you can drink FANCY COFFEES which give you POWERS! You also have to watch out for your annoying cat who wants to KNOCK OVER your coffees!
You can buy just my current chapter-in-progress of LETTERS FROM SPACE CAMP for $5!
It documents my second day as an outpatient at the mental hospital. I'm up to page 23 of 29, you'll have access as I update this post with the final pages over the next few weeks.
I've added the completed 162 page first draft PDF to this post, so you can read the full story. It's just drawn with super rough stick figures, flat colors, and, of course, it's the first draft so I've made a ton of changes in the current 3rd draft, which I am serializing in the above post.
FML #1 by Kelly Sue DeConnick, David López and Cris Peter. Cover by López. Variant covers by (2) Álvaro Martínez Bueno, (3) David Lafuente, (4) Nicola Scott and (5) Pepe Larraz. Out in November.
"From the Eisner award-winning creators who brought you Captain Marvel, Bitch Planet, and Wonder Woman: Historia comes this genre-busting, apocalyptic odyssey about a group of metal kids who face a medley of bizarre foes and encounters in Portland, Oregon during a worldwide pandemic. Riley is a teen that sketches out his heavy metal future with a ballpoint pen between monster movies and band practice. But musical stardom needs to compete with high school, the temper of a former Riot Grrrl mother, the morbid obsessions of a goth sister, and the eccentricities of bandmates that threaten to drive him and everyone around him insane. The balance gets harder after a ritual during a party in Portland's Forest Park causes him to wake up one day to discover that the creatures, witchcraft, and metal world he's obsessed with may be a bit closer to home than he preferred."
