(Thought I’d upload my recent comics to Tumblr! I totally forgot it only lets you upload 10 pics at a time, and this is 11, but fingers crossed it works!)
These are messy wips but im posting them now because I never finish art, and if I don’t upload unfinished work then there’s a high probability I will never upload anything at all. Really pleased with the eyes in the first one. :]
Started these based on 7x16 ‘Thine Own Self’ I am planning to draw more muscle/skeletal and make like. A gif of the layers.
This piece was incredibly challenging, but super rewarding as well! The scales shine differently as you move the hoop and they catch the light, creating shifting depth. I’ll upload another post with a vid showing that off cause it’s one of my favorite things about this, and the reason I chose to embroider each individual scale.

I’m almost hesitant to upload this. Do not expect updates this fast or even updates at all because I am notorious for losing interest quickly. I’m going tp upload this one early because a certain platform’s art community is hell right now and this Bethany encapsulates my feelings quite well- curious because I was super hyped and happy while painting this because I found a brush that it’s great to paint skin with subtle textures.
