Hans Haverhals reposted thisHans Haverhals reposted thisDeterministic security for non-deterministic AI. Amazon Bedrock AgentCore is an agentic platform for building, deploying, and operating agents securely at scale using any framework and model. These are the top security features I mention when I talk to CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and builders about AgentCore. 1. 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞: Isolate every session in a microVM, terminated and memory sanitized after use. https://lnkd.in/g7_Egf5Y 2. 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲: Consolidate tool calls behind one secure, audited endpoint. https://lnkd.in/ggW6YEKE 3. 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲: Enforce fine-grained access rules on every tool call before it runs. https://lnkd.in/gR5qmKd5 4. 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲: Authenticate users via your IdP to control who can invoke agents. https://lnkd.in/gzV9iVGr 5. 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Track session metrics, latency, token use and errors for agents and built-in tools. https://lnkd.in/gcgJV9tX 6. Hans Haverhals shared thisCISOs are the critical gatekeepers of AI adoption in 2026 — and increasingly, the enablers. Gartner reports 43% of enterprises cite security as their no.1 barrier, but the ones moving fastest are those where the CISO has architectural confidence from day one. AWS provides a completely decoupled, model-agnostic playground without sacrificing a single drop of native AWS enterprise security control. It's the perfect balance of flexibility and uncompromised protection. Bedrock's primary differentiator is its architecture. It acts as a serverless, single API unified gateway to third-party models, where AWS fully wraps the third-party container in the AWS security blanket. Data never leaves your perimeter. Enabling the CISO to accelerate AI and innovation, securely. #secureai #aisecurity #awssecurity #aws #ciso #openai #AmazonBedrockHans Haverhals shared thisToday marks a milestone for customers across Australia and New Zealand. With Open AI’s frontier models now available on Amazon Bedrock, our customers have access to the world's leading AI models, with the enterprise security, governance, and flexibility they need to move from experimentation to production at scale. This isn't just about adding models to a menu. It's about a conviction we've held from the start: customers should never have to compromise between speed of innovation and the flexibility they need to use the right model for their use case. Our partnership with OpenAI deepens that commitment. Together, we're ensuring customers can access the most capable AI models available, backed by AWS infrastructure, security, and the local support you need to move fast. Amazon Bedrock continues to offer: ✅ Best-in-class frontier models, one unified API ✅ Enterprise-grade security and governance built in ✅ The flexibility to choose the right model for the right workload Whether you're building agentic AI workflows, transforming developer productivity, or reimagining how your teams work, OpenAI frontier models are now at your fingertips on Amazon Bedrock. Hans Haverhals liked thisHans Haverhals liked thisI’ve been a supporter of #ScamsAwarenessWeek for years advocating for us all to be "Scam Fit". Just like physical fitness or mental wellbeing, staying safe online relies on the choices we make every day. Taking a moment to verify who's contacting you, checking a request before responding, or pausing when something feels unusual go a long way to keeping us all safer. There is no stereotypical profile of a scam victim. They're parents, retirees, students, small business owners, friends, neighbours, and colleagues. In other words, any of us can fall victim. Scammers use a range of tactics and technologies to create urgency and pressure people into acting quickly, they don't see the person behind the screen. They see a target 🎯. This Scams Awareness Week I’ve made another refresher video reminding Australians that a few simple habits can help keep you safer online all year round. If something doesn't feel right, STOP, CHECK and PROTECT before you act and report it to ScamWatch: https://lnkd.in/grgBzrRy I encourage everyone a have conversations about being Scam Fit with their family and friends. #ScamFit #StopCheckProtect #ACCC nbn® Australia

Hans Haverhals liked thisHans Haverhals liked thisGoogle just published what comes after zero trust. One small problem: the architecture assumes you're Google. Beyond Zero is a genuinely interesting paper. Shrink the trust boundary from the application down to the individual action, with an AI reasoning engine deciding whether this specific export of these fifty thousand records looks right. This was always the plan for zero trust, we just got bogged down in the realities of enabling a business before we got there. The catch is that the paper describes Google's reality, not yours. They build 80% of what they run and own a custom auth stack that can enforce policy on every action. You have 600 half-managed SaaS tools, a data classification project that died years ago, and a five-person security team that isn't reviewing what an AI wrongly blocked at 2am. I wrote up what's actually buildable today, the problems the paper glosses over, and why your existing zero trust rollout is the foundation rather than the casualty. Im hoping this finally lights a fire under some of the zero trust vendors that have been stagnating as of late. We finally have the nudge we need to finish what we started. Hans Haverhals liked thisHans Haverhals liked thisToday, I’m starting a new chapter in my professional journey and I couldn’t be more "stoked" about what’s ahead. I’m joining a team with with a great energy, ambition, a strong desire to make a difference and drop the biggest waves of the cybersecurity industry, in a company with a solution that is literally going #Upwind. Against the current, against conventional thinking and against everything the market says “this is how it has always been done.” Because talking about innovation is fine, but delivering it also in #RealTime is what we do better. My mission in this new chapter is to strengthen our Strategic Alliances Ecosystem across LATAM, working closely with Cloud Service Providers and building an even stronger network of Strategic Partners. The goal is to turn partnerships into growth, ecosystems into opportunities, and turn technology into real business outcomes. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity and, above all, for the trust placed in me. To our leadership team: Amiram Shachar, Lavi Ferdman, Max Stevens, Samuel Zejger and of course, Ariel Negrin, thank you for the confidence and support. That trust will be critical as we challenge assumptions, break new grounds, and build what I believe can become a different way of doing cloud security in Latin America. We’re not here to sail with the wind, we’re going Upwind Security. The #LatamStorm is going to be huge this season 🌊🏄 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐭, 𝐥𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐭. 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐠𝐨 𝐔𝐩 & 𝐔𝐩𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝.

It’s been exactly 50 months (1512 Day Ones), and whenever people asked me what it was like to work here, my answer was and will always be: 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓. Beyond its unique culture, the builder mindset at AWS is unmatched. Working alongside such intelligent, creative, and capable people, who are constantly pushing hard to modernize and transform through people and technology, it has been an absolute privilege to live during my last 4 years here. Thanks to Brendan Staveley and Shawn Kirk for giving me the opportunity to join AWS (to my very first team which we had such great QBRs and fun together), to Himanshu Verma, Justin Criswell, CISSP and Danielle Ruderman, and their whole team, for being always very supportive, engaged into all the activities we did in LATAM. To Ricardo Brognoli for leading a mixed and new talented team and getting things back on track and Armando Martines Neto for leading and guiding with excellence the spectacular LATAM Specialists Team. Appreciate also every single LATAM member who I had the opportunity to support somehow, and the leadership team: Juan Carlos "JC" Gutierrez, Luis Fernando Liguori, Cleber Morais, JULIO MORAIS, Americo de Paula e Silva Junior, Javier Cristancho, Daniel Saldarriaga, Juan Pablo Estevez, Juan Ignacio Filips, Rafael Mattje de Carvalho, Manuel Puron and@Rubén Mugártegui for the collaboration, support, and trust that Security as a continuous learning as well. “Hans Haverhals is one of those rare leaders who builds trust. I saw first hand his ability to help customers navigate complex security matters whilst at the same time drive executive level engagements on security strategy. No doubt this is part of the reason he has earnt the respect and established deep relationships with so many leading CISOs forged over many years. At BT Global Services we were a challenger brand that won the confidence of leading banks and federal government agencies, and in the process established one of Australia’s leading cyber capabilities. Hans led this team from the ground up and his passion for security excellence combined with his ability to identify exceptional talent, along with the focus and drive to execute our vision was at the heart of this success. I have no hesitation in recommending him. Tim Cavill Managing Director BT Global 2013-2019”
