Esha Lata Sharma reposted thisEsha Lata Sharma reposted thisThe wheelchair is the least interesting part of my story. What interests people is how we respond when life throws us into circumstances we never asked for. My keynote isn't about disability. It's about resilience, leadership, perspective, adaptability, cognitive reframing and the choices we make when everything changes. Whether you're a CEO, teacher, student, athlete or parent, adversity doesn't discriminate. The lessons are universal.

Esha Lata Sharma shared thisNestory Irankunda made ALL Australians proud last weekend. He showed what it truly means to represent this country — the heart, the pride, and the beauty of our multicultural nation. In doing so, he gave a voice to those who are often quietly cheering from the sidelines, hoping for the same opportunity to be seen, to belong, and to shine. In a world where our differences can sometimes feel like they divide us, Nestory reminded us of how powerful they are in bringing us together. Feeling incredibly privileged that Best&Less has been a small part of his journey 💕Esha Lata Sharma shared thisOn Sunday, Australia celebrated a goal. Today, we discovered something special. In a photo shared by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, a young Nestory Irankunda is wearing an "I'm a Best&Less Kid" t-shirt. Long before the World Cup. Long before professional football. Just a kid with big dreams. Congratulations, Nestory, on inspiring a nation, and best of luck to you and the Socceroos - We’re cheering you on. ⚽️🩵🇦🇺

Esha Lata Sharma liked thisEsha Lata Sharma liked thisA new chapter is underway! I'm delighted to share that I've joined Woolworths Group as Chapter Lead, Executive Talent and Leadership. Woolworths is part of millions of Aussies and Kiwis lives everyday, and that's a big part of what pulled me here. Some of my very first jobs were in retail, on the floor with customers, so there's something that feels really full circle. Everything my team and I do is ultimately in service of the leaders servicing our customers and communities. Learning is a big driver for joining this awesome organisation and two days in, that is delivering! Everyone I've met so far has been so generous with their time, experiences and insights, and there's clearly so much ahead to get stuck into. My 10 year old daughter asked me if people were kind and cool as soon as I got home after my first day - I was delighted to say absolutely yes! To everyone who's helped me grow and get me to this point, thank you. I carry all of it with me into this next step. Onwards!

Esha Lata Sharma liked thisEsha Lata Sharma liked thisYour imposter syndrome is lying to you. Someone already sees your potential. You're looking at job descriptions thinking: "I only meet 60% of these requirements." "They probably want someone with more experience." "I don't have the exact background they're looking for." But here's what hiring managers actually value: ↳ Problem-solving ability over perfect experience ↳ Growth mindset over knowing everything today ↳ Cultural fit over checking every technical box ↳ Curiosity about learning over existing expertise ↳ Resilience through challenges over smooth sailing The person who hired me into my first tech role didn't care that I came from another industry. They cared that I was hungry to learn and willing to do the work. Sometimes your "inexperience" is exactly what they need - fresh perspective without old assumptions. Your willingness to grow might be more valuable than someone else's resume. Who took a chance on you when others saw only what you lacked? P.S. Esha Lata Sharma liked thisEsha Lata Sharma liked this**My humble beginnings — and a proud milestone.** 🇦🇺 In 2008, we moved to Australia. My son was just 4 years old — a bundle of energy and excitement, stepping into a new country with no idea of the journey that lay ahead. Fast forward to today, and that same boy has been commissioned as an officer in the Australian Army. 🎖️ Standing beside him after the ceremony, in his dress uniform, is a moment I will carry with me forever. He has always spoken about giving back — to the community and the country that gave him the opportunity to grow and thrive. This commission is his way of answering that call, choosing a life of service and duty in return for everything this nation has given our family. To all who serve, and to the families who support them — thank you. And to my son: from that excited 4-year-old to an officer of the Australian Army, driven by gratitude and purpose — we couldn't be prouder. ❤️ *Proud father. Proud family. Proud nation.* #AustralianArmy #ProudFather #Commissioning #ServiceAndSacrifice #MigrantStory #AustralianStory ---

Why are so many Change & HRIS/HCM professionals applying and so few landing roles? In the current Australian market, job applications have doubled over the past 12 months. But at the same time, job creation has dropped by 5.4% . This means we are seeing more noise, fewer meaningful opportunities, and a lot of talent sitting idle. According to JobAdder’s 2025 “State of the Market” report (via news.com.au), this mismatch is hitting mid-to-senior Transformation & Tech roles particularly hard where project-based hiring has traditionally driven demand. Here’s what I’m seeing on the ground: - Businesses are still hiring but mostly to backfill, not expand - Permanent headcount is being tightly controlled due to budget cycles - Alot of Contractors are getting snapped up fast but only if they’re project-ready - Roles are taking longer to approve, and many are being paused last minute If you’re hiring: - Be clear on the commercial impact of delay and move fast once you’re ready If you’re job searching: - Treat every application like a pitch because competition has never been higher If you’re feeling stuck: I speak to candidates and hiring leaders in this space every day and these trends are consistent. There is a gap between supply and demand is real. But so are the opportunities, especially for those who can position themselves well. Have you noticed a shift in the Transformation or HCM market lately? I'd love to hear what you think of the current market. 👇

abrs - Australian Barnardos… • 10K followers
From my perspective as GM of abrs, one of the clearest lessons from recent years is how quickly social care is impacted when funding tightens. When budgets contract or commissioning shifts, the pressure lands immediately on services and teams and workforce stability becomes harder to maintain at the very time communities need support most. It’s reinforced for me that strengthening the sector isn’t only about recruiting well in the moment; it’s about building a model that can keep investing in the workforce through harder cycles. That’s why we’re intentionally expanding our recruitment partnerships across corporate and professional roles, and across industries. It creates a practical pathway for organisations to use recruitment spend in a socially purposeful way, while helping abrs diversify revenue so we can sustain and grow our contribution back into children, youth and family programs over time in the sector that is our core. If you’re exploring a recruitment partner that combines strong delivery with a clear social purpose, I’d welcome a conversation about how we can support your hiring needs and help strengthen the sector at the same time.
