Q. What is this?

This is a Steven-is-the-son-of-White-Diamond AU story told through asks and mini-comics. It’s written and illustrated by @thechekhov.

Q: How come you don’t post the comics directly to tumblr anymore?

Because tumblr has a really terrible tag organization system. If I were to post to tumblr, some comics would STILL be left out or be out of order. It’s 500% more work for me to do it that way, and I’d be inundated with people asking “wait where is the link to THIS comic” or “I think the tagged comics are out of order” and that’s just not worth it.

Q: How often do you update the comic?

A: Regular comics update every two weeks, but larger comics may take up to a month to make. If you’re unsure, check Tapas! There will be a countdown timer to the new comic there.

When new comics are made, the comic drops on Tapas on Friday, 6pm PST, and to tumblr on Saturday.

Q: What are the tags for tumblr?

A: Tumblr sucks at tagging, but all comics should be tagged as #wd!steven and all answered asks (those that are directed at ME, the author) are tagged #chekhov answers so if you don’t want asks on your dashboard, blacklist those.

Q. Do you have a Discord?

A. Yes. Some channels ARE spoiler-heavy, so be careful when going in. Also, as it is a Pg-13 server, please read the rules of the server before posting.

Aventurine uses Peridot's limb enhancements, so I assumed that Peridot relied on them like in actual cannon, but back when Aventurine was on the moon, the Peridot side of them poofed themselves using all of those metal parts. That left me wondering. When did Peridot discover she had metal powers, and how?

The honest answer is - she didn’t.

Peridot wasn’t even really aware that she had metal powers. She didn’t consciously use them. It was kind of a fugue state.

Aventurine unlocked it because Lapis’ natural affinity for controlling things kicked in and pulled that to the surface.

If Peridot tried to use that power again when she was alone, she’d have a lot of trouble.

Ela contou a ele uma versão simples dos eventos.

“Ah, nós só incomodamos um pouco o Jasper.”
“Eu disse para você parar de fazer isso.”
“Está tudo bem, ela está meio que legal conosco agora!”

Its hard to tell since she’s silhouetted by her own glow, but in the shared mind-space thing, does White Diamond have a gem either? Steven clearly doesn’t—but for White, its harder to tell. If she doesn’t, is it because the two of them are, for lack of a better word, “inside” the gem? Hope this question makes sense!
