Yes, obviously being a tech reviewer that gets to test new devices daily is going to take the novelty out of the process. As a normal working person who buys 2-3 devices a year, my switch 2, DJI neo drone, even PS portal were big events that I'm still delighted with.
I'm excited for Valve's second attempt at steam machines, but my 3 year old mid-range Gaming PC makes this pretty redundant. Not sure how many people will fit the niche they are aiming for, unless this is as cheap as a console which is unlikely.
