See AllWeapons director's new Resident Evil movie gets its first trailer
I'm very excited for this and really hope it'll be good! He's really earned my trust in him as a horror director with Barbarian and Weapons. Hell, in a weird way Barbarian kind of already is a Resident Evil movie. Woman is in a creepy house, man she's with disappears, there's a secret passage to a sprawling underground facility, and there's an evil man who over the years has created a series of monsters. There's even a second character going through all of it in parallel like in the games!
4 books that offer a twist on Dungeon Crawler Carl and the LitRPG craze
As someone who has watched romance ignite at the game table only to explode and destroy the gaming group multiple times, that Rolling for Romance sounds like it is going to give me PTSD. LOL
Oddity and Hokum director Damian McCarthy reveals plans for his final (and scariest) horror movie
I can't wait for Hokum! Been excited since the trailer dropped! Honestly it would be interesting to see him try something a bit different at some point, but I would be surprised if any of his movies ever escape being at least partially horror. But I could see him doing some fun stuff in the comedy/horror or black comedy space.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth gets a Switch 2 and Xbox demo today
@platypus222 (it says the username is invalid when I just hit reply and won't let me post, so sorry for this weirdness)
I didn't think anyone expected it of me. Just answering the question from Jen at the top of the comment section. LOL
Honestly though I'd love to know what the sales figures end up being. I'm curious if this is a game that would even appeal to the crowd that only has a Switch 2; so no PS5, no Xbox, no gaming PC. I'm not sure what that demographic is, but I'm sure it swings pretty young, and that's a crowd Final Fantasy has been struggling to attract for a while now. And we know this because they recently put out a figure recently that 77% of players of Rebirth were over 30 and 62% were over 35. Hell, I was 34 when it came out, so I'm right in there myself.
Quentin Tarantino's divisive western is getting a surprising sequel
Yeah I was gonna say, what was divisive about Django? It's probably his most universally enjoyed movie.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth gets a Switch 2 and Xbox demo today
I mean, this is cool for people who only have a Switch 2 and nothing else and want to play it, I suppose, but I'm certainly not buying it again for a slightly worse experience when my PS5 still works just fine.
