I get any engagement is good engagement and that the standards for writing here are abysmally low these days, but... c'mon.
Sorcerian is great. Nihon Falcom is amazing and still puts out fun RPGs along the formula(s) they've found.
Saying that Sorcerian is some hidden gem where characters age is such a reach it's almost absurd. If you wanted to write about Sorcerian do it, don't try to shoehorn it in as some mystical lost gem that deals with age in this idiosyncratic way Kojima speculated when there's like 20 in the last couple years alone and literally dozens over the timespan (heh, get it) from the present to Sorcerian's release.
For what it's worth, I'd wager Wildermyth handles this in the most interesting and graceful way, but if we have to pull from ~40 years ago... idk... Sid Meier's Pirates!
This is just lazy.
