See All7 movie roles Michael Jackson wanted to play (but thankfully didn’t)
I think he would have been perfect for Willy Wonka (but I totally agree with WB's reasoning) and interesting for Doctor Who. The rest? Holy hell we dodged several bullets there.
Nu metal pioneer Korn's first new music in 4 years is for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred
Right? I thought it was just me. I'm terminally rhythmically impaired but I feel like I can still hear if a song is at least cohesive, and this one is just a jumble, and it doesn't feel like that's the point of it either.
Not a KoRn "fan" but you know, I listened to the classics a bunch back in the day. They've done some good stuff - this ain't it.
Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred's much improved story gets in the way of its sweet, sweet grind
yovargas The infinite grind is not my issue. That's what the genre is, and has always been. When the grind ended in D1, so did the game. D2 was either infinite grind or leaderboards (just a slightly different type of grind).
No, my issue with D4 after having given it several good shakes, is that IT decides how and when I use my time.
I don't want boss timers, and timed events that pop right when I'm going to bed, or when my family needs me. I don't want timed speedruns that lock me into an activity for x amount of time, no breaks, or I lose the progress.
I want to live my life, and for the game to be there for me, when *I* want it. It's not just timers either, it's how progression is chained together so you have to do some activities before others, before others. I'm not talking about one time unlocks, I'm talking specific recurring grinds to get boss summon mats/keys/whatever.
Don't get me wrong: There are always things to do in D4, that will progress your character. But I want to be in control of which of the things I do when. I want to do activity x because I feel like it, not because I have to x and y before getting to z that I actually wanted - and I don't want to feel like I have to arrange my life around game timers to be "efficient". Ever.
These two Steam games had a similar idea, but only one became a top seller
@patricia You should probably fix the link ostensibly to Rewind 99 - it currently leads to Retro Rewind...
I know it's just a mistake, but it feels super bad considering what the article is about.
Kingdoms of Amalur was supposed to start a franchise, but it imploded instead
It's a shame it didn't pay off. The game wasn't bad. My girlfriend liked it a lot, and I was ok with it, I just got bored a bit quicker than with most big RPG's I've played.
The games world could absolutely have carried a franchise though, and I remember being sad we didn't get a chance to see what it could become.
