It's a remake of a found footage movie that used the early internet to great effect in the late 90's for viral marketing so why not get a Youtuber to direct it? Makes sense to me and you aren't ever gonna stop Hollywood from doing remakes.

I don't even think Luke cracks my personal top 10 and I haven't seen any of the cartoons or read a single book comic or otherwise. As for Luke he doesn't really have much of a personality besides generic protagonist and the one movie where they try to give him a personality people hated even though it's the only movie from the new trilogy that actually tried to do something original. Arggh!!! lol
