With the Men’s 2026 World Cup only a few months away, many EA FC 26 players are currently looking to either run their own simulations or take their national teams to eternal glory for either the first time or, in Brazil’s case, the sixth.
Wait, what? Is Brazil not in the game? To help you understand why one of the world’s leading footballing nations is missing, here’s why the Men’s and Women’s Brazilian national teams aren’t in EA FC 26.

Why Is Brazil Not In EA FC 26?
To put it simply, Brazil is not on EA FC 26 because EA Sports and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) were not able to agree on a licensing deal. It’s still unknown if the Confederation’s current partnership with Konami might have also played a part in hardening negotiations.
Regarding individual players and clubs part of the Brazilian leagues, things get a little more complicated (or constitutional), since on top of having to negotiate with individual teams, Brazil’s Lei Pelé (or Pelé’s Law) —established in 1998 to safeguard the rights of athletes— determines that Brazilian players must personally authorize the use of their image for commercial endeavors. The latter is also the biggest roadblock here, as apart from opening the company to lawsuits, it challenges EA’s usual model, known to rely on FIFPro for possible league-wide negotiations.
Will Brazil (& The Brazilian Clubs) Ever Come To EA FC 26?
Although no news regarding the addition of the Brazilian national teams has surfaced, recent reports point to a possible reconciliation between EA Sports and the Brazilian Confederation, which started with the addition of Botafogo and Bahia to EA FC mobile in February 2026. At the time of writing, though, you can only play with Brazilian clubs in EA FC 26 via its CONMEBOL Libertadores Kick Off mode. The bad news, thanks to the talked-about player licensing issues, all clubs feature generic squads. Here’s a list of all Brazilian clubs currently present on EA FC 26:

- São Paulo
But Where Can You Play As Brazil?
The game’s biggest draw for many, the Brazilian national team is currently only found in eFootball 2026, which also currently owns the rights for the Brazilian first and second divisions (or Série A & B). This means that those who simply cannot want to play with the Amarelinha or manage in the Brazilian League in FC 26 can only do so via the installation of mods.
