Immense potential but a total disappointment in terms of gameplay. NEVER BUY AT FULL PRICE or you will have major buyers remorse. I think you could enjoy this game if purchased for $10 or so. Pros: - It looks beautiful. Cons: - Enemy AI is terrible. - Environments are a step down from Hitman. - Plot is very predictable and short. - Longest tutorial I’ve ever played in a single player video game. - “Puzzles” are insanely easy to solve (3rd or 4th grade level puzzles) - Some major bugs break immersion (like pop-in) - Combat is easy and terrible. You just button mash attack and parry buttons constantly. - I played on hardest difficulty and never died or failed. - THE MOST HANDHOLDING IVE SEEN IN A GAME IN A LONG TIME. At the end of the day the gameplay is essentially just walking to points on the map indicated by your HUD. You get to the spot and you’ll either have a cutscene or you will press triangle and have a cutscene. That’s the game folks. Absolutely zero replay ability. Even going different paths you always end up with the same results. 1/10 would never play again.

Visually interesting with a lovely art style and fantastic soundtrack… however, it falls apart when you have to play the game. To call it a “game” is an interesting conversation. There are entire sequences, including important plot points and story climaxes, that don’t even require the player to play. It creates an illusion of you needing to hit quick time events, but ultimately if you lay down the controller there is no consequence. Entire chapters of the game don’t even require your input as a player. It has some good writing and fun aspects but ultimately fails to become a game worthy of players time. There is not much **** here per se. Ultimately a novel experience, I would consider it highly passable. This is by no means a must play game. With about 3 hours of “gameplay” it’s difficult to justify the purchase. If youre interested in the game you are probably better off watching a let’s play video on YouTube as your experience as a player and a watcher are essentially the same.
