I'm speaking at GitHub Universe 2026 🎉 💬 My session: "How a shared AI config became Slack's internal tool platform" 🗓️ Wednesday, October 28 at 4:10 PM 🌉 Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, and streaming online Here's the short version of the story. Back in January, I built myself a bespoke Claude Code setup to work faster, then shared it in a public channel at Slack. Engineers started forking and referencing it. That organic traction then transformed into our internal DevXP AI tool catalog: one source of truth for MCP servers, skills, and agents, backed by an adoption dashboard tracking real granular usage across teams. We are still building more on top of it every day! 🔍 In 15 minutes I'll demo the catalog, share six months of real adoption metrics, and walk through what it takes to build something similar: - Building an internal AI tool catalog on GitHub that others want to contribute to - Measuring adoption with real data instead of surveys - Creating the cultural conditions that make AI tooling spread on its own If you work on internal developer platforms, or you're trying to get AI tooling to actually stick at your company, I'd love to see you there!
