  • An AI agent is only as secure as every model, tool, skill, and data source behind it. That’s why securing agents requires more than a one-size-fits-all approach. Cisco AI Defense discovers agents and their dependencies, tests them against context-specific risks, and provides runtime protection across any agent or cloud platform. Watch the product explainer to see how Cisco AI Defense helps organizations understand risk—and secure AI from development through deployment. Discover AI Defense, comprehensive security for the AI era. https://lnkd.in/gtfxeWXM

  • AI agents are reshaping the security model for enterprise AI. Unlike traditional applications, agents can reason, make decisions, call tools, access sensitive data, and take actions at machine speed—introducing a myriad of new risks across their development and deployment. Join Cisco’s Emile A. tomorrow for a live webinar exploring how AI research, engineering, and security teams can identify agentic risk earlier, apply security throughout the AI lifecycle, and use Cisco AI Defense to help validate and protect AI applications and agents. You’ll leave with: • A clearer understanding of emerging agentic AI risks • A lifecycle approach to securing AI agents • Practical strategies for testing, governing, and protecting agentic systems • Insights into how Cisco AI Defense can help organizations deploy AI more securely Learn How Agents Are Reshaping AI Security 📅 June 30, 2026 🕚 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. CET Watch live: https://lnkd.in/gaAfNaPR

One environment. Every domain. No more tab switching. Cisco Cloud Control brings networking, security, compute, observability, and collaboration together — with AI Canvas at the center surfacing the operational data your team actually needs. Christopher Consolo and Jeff F. break it down in the latest #CiscoQuickBytes. Learn more here: https://cs.co/6040BDj9C2.

  • Room & Board’s network infrastructure team is just three people responsible for connectivity across the business. Mark Rodrigue shared his perspective with BizTech Magazine on the practical value of Cisco Cloud Control for his team: more cohesive management, fewer disconnected platforms, broader visibility and better context for AI-assisted troubleshooting. • Getting prompts right is the hardest part of building reliable LLM applications — small wording changes can swing accuracy by 20%, and manual tuning simply doesn't scale. We built FAPO (Fully Automated Prompt Optimization), an AI coding driven system, supported by both Claude Code and Codex, that evaluates your pipeline, diagnoses which step failed, generates improved variants, and iterates autonomously until you hit your target accuracy.    In head-to-head testing against GEPA across six benchmarks, FAPO won 15 of 18 comparisons (mean gain +14.1pp), with the biggest jumps coming from escalating beyond prompts to structural pipeline changes.    It's open source — we'd love your feedback. What if your infrastructure could stop reacting—and start anticipating? That's the shift Cisco Cloud Control makes possible. → AgenticOps is the capability: what AI agents do for your infrastructure. → Autonomous infrastructure is the outcome: what it unlocks for your business. → Cisco Cloud Control is the product: where it all comes to life. As seen in last week's Cisco Live Keynote Deep Dive, DJ Sampath and his team explore how intelligent agents, unified control, and real-time cross-domain intelligence transform infrastructure from reactive systems into autonomous, adaptive engines—built for the AI era. Step into the future of enterprise IT. https://lnkd.in/gcW2CC8c #CiscoCloudControl #AgenticOps #AutonomousInfrastructure #EnterpriseIT #AI

The AI era demands a new kind of security — and a new way to buy it. 🔒 This blog from Dave West nails why the Cisco and AWS Marketplace motion matters right now. AI agents are a new digital workforce operating at machine speed. Traditional security wasn't built for them. Cisco Duo, Secure Access, and Identity Intelligence — all 100% SaaS on AWS — are reimagining Zero Trust for the agentic era. From securing agentic AI workforces with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to simplifying tool sprawl with Hybrid Mesh Firewall on AWS, the portfolio is ready. And with Cisco AI Defense alongside Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker, customers can validate models, protect sensitive training data, embed governance guardrails, and gain visibility into AI activity across environments. Innovation without compromise. I'm excited about the momentum of our AWS and Cisco security partnership and what's ahead. 🚀 The short video in this blog says it all in 80 seconds ⬇️ https://cs.co/6040BD1hUk #AWSSummitNY #CiscoSecurity #AWSMarketplace #AgenticAI #ZeroTrust #CiscoPartners #SecureAI #StrategicPartnerships

  • We're excited to see Deloitte Japan begin production validation of Cisco Foundation AI’s Foundation-sec-1.1-8B-Instruct model for its security operations. Designed specifically for cybersecurity use cases, the open-source model is being used to automate key tasks including security alert analysis, prioritization, and false positive reduction. The adoption demonstrates how purpose-built generative AI can enhance traditional security operations while delivering a practical, cost-effective path to AI-powered workflows. As organizations look to operationalize AI, specialized models like Foundation-sec-1.1-8B-Instruct are helping teams improve efficiency, reduce noise, and focus on the threats that matter most.
