Australian cybersecurity startup Apate.ai has raised US$8.15 million (A$11.4 million) in Seed funding. The round was led by Lobby Capital, with additional investment from OIF Ventures, Investible, Concept Ventures and Baobab Ventures. Apate.AI builds AI agents that behave like real cyber attackers. These AI agents enter fraud networks to study how scammers operate and identify the methods they use.
