I touched down in Paris not long ago, just in time to see the sunrise. I’ve logged a lot of miles over my career, but this trip is different. There are a lot of firsts: First trip to Israel. First time meeting the Koda team face-to-face. First chance to dig in and absorb all we’re building up close. Today I’m taking one of my biggest first steps on this new adventure, and I could not be more excited. I’ll be posting as the week goes. If you know Tel Aviv, drop a recommendation in the comments. Food, coffee, anything worth the walk - I have a feeling I’ll be a little jet lagged.
A new spot just opened not too far away from the usual action in Sarona, it’s called Bo’u, you have to try the Crab Teramisu!
I had a hat trick at this place on my last trip :) https://maps.app.goo.gl/Uc9aZmyaGnxhyrAQA?g_st=ic Sarona Market is also really nice and has many different options.
Go to Old Jaffa - walk down Ben Yair Street, walk around Carmel Market like Omer said, my fave is Suzana restaurant in Neve Tzedek! Have fun Liz Morton!
Coffee is so much better there. I also recommend Pastel Restaurant so good.
If you want to eat authentic fresh humus without the fancy makeup I can only recommend Abu Hassan on Dolfin Street in old Yaffa. Best for lunch. B'teavon, enjoy your meal!
Enjoy Tel Aviv Liz! Best city in the world
Welcome to Tel Aviv Liz! Go to Vitrina or Benz Brothers for the best burgers. Carmel market is fun with great places to eat - The Taco is a must!!
You have an amazing team who will host you well! My recommendations are: *breakfast at the Carlton Hotel and a walk along the boardwalk. Esther the Queen for a late burger, and basically any restaurant or coffee shop for the best food and coffee you have likely ever had. You will leave Tel Aviv trying to find something similar ANYWHERE, but sadly you won't, only in Tel Aviv. Hope you have an amazing trip!
