I had a hand-drawn sketch that I wanted to turn into a system block diagram for a presentation I was working on. This is not a complex task - something that I think a late primary school / early high school kid could achieve. I ran this through four different AI image gen tools to compare the results.

DT would have been interesting to see if they could then improve the diagram as a 'next step'. ie asking them to lay it out in a nicer way

It remains both amazing and frustrating. However the development speed means I am in the amazed camp even when it doesn’t work perfectly. ChatGPT has been my go to on most things but Nano Banana is a big step ahead on images.
