AI launch news is everywhere. But how do you actually use it before your second cup of coffee? ☕️ This month’s AI Pulse breaks down 6 practical ways to plug Rovo into your everyday workflows—from your terminal to your team onboarding. Read the guide and subscribe for your monthly dose of AI tips. 📥

What stands out to me is that these examples move AI beyond task assistance and into workflow participation. Historically, tools supported work while people remained responsible for execution. Increasingly, agents are becoming part of the operational path itself. They retrieve context, generate outputs, trigger actions and influence what happens next in the workflow. That changes an important governance assumption. The question is no longer just whether an agent performs well. It's whether organisations understand where operational dependency begins once the workflow starts relying on agent participation to function effectively. The more interesting challenge may not be agent capability. It may be identifying the point at which an agent stops being a productivity tool and starts becoming part of the service delivery model.

I just love how I can now use Loom to create JIRA work items. The bug reporting game just levelled up! And also creating structured Confluence pages based on your Loom? Wow. These both are huge time savers for me.

Your smartphone uses Al, as do sèrvices like digital assistants, chatbots, social media websites, and much more. Many home electronics also use Al, such as robot vacuum cleaners or security systems. And, of course, there are classic examples of auto-navigation and robotics.

This is definitely a step forward in making AI your coworker. But one question lingers my mind, with all these integrations with Cursor or Claude, is Atlassian downplaying Rovo Dev or does Atlassian feels that Rovo Dev has a separate use case?
