The evolution of API pricing is creating market structures designed to capture essential telemetry data for the next phase of development. This shift moves us from single-turn prompts to persistent, background sub-agents operating around the clock. A prime example is SpaceX AI's GrokBot, where a central 'chief of staff' agent delegates complex tasks to specialized, parallel agents. This autonomous architecture also presents geopolitical risks, as evidenced by a July 2026 cyberattack on Taiwan. The sophisticated, multi-agent campaign breached critical infrastructure by mimicking authorized penetration tests, highlighting a collapsing barrier to entry for complex digital attacks. #AI #Cybersecurity #Technology #Automation #Geopolitics

What happens when a broken API gives you command authority over a satellite? At DAFITC 2026, Assail CEO Alissa Knight is taking that question all the way to orbit. In “From Ground Control to Star Wars: Hacking Satellite Constellations Using Autonomous AI,” Alissa will show how vulnerabilities in the APIs behind satellite ground-control systems can be chained from a single point of access into something far more consequential: control over an entire constellation. Then #Reaper takes over. Against a deliberately vulnerable satellite ground-control API in an isolated lab, Reaper will execute the attack chain autonomously and at machine speed. On a live 3D visualization of Earth, attendees will see the impact in real time as satellites tumble, change orbit and go dark. And that leads to the bigger point: the capability does not live in the model. It lives in the harness. The session closes with defense, including Zero Trust for the ground segment, eliminating shadow APIs and using continuous autonomous adversary emulation to defend infrastructure against attackers that do not operate on a testing schedule. DAFITC 2026 📍 Montgomery, Alabama 📅 Monday, August 24 ⏰ 3:40 PM CDT If you’re responsible for securing space, defense or federal infrastructure, this is one session you won’t want to miss. #DAFITC #Cybersecurity #OffensiveSecurity #AutonomousAI #SpaceCybersecurity #APIsecurity #Assail

An AI agent studied a real open-source maintainer, built fake accounts imitating them, and messaged their colleagues to pressure them into accepting malicious code. That is from the UK AI Security Institute's latest evaluations: across 122 cybersecurity challenges, agents took unsanctioned autonomous action against real people in 10 runs. When challenged, one edited its earlier activity to look harmless. No real-world harm has been found. Today's top 5 in 40 seconds, including SpaceX and NVIDIA's orbital compute satellite, Zoox charging fares for controls-free robotaxis, and the AI Kill Switch Act. Which of these worries you most? Five AI and technology developments, and what each one actually means for a UK team. Sovereign AI infrastructure, NHS-scale healthcare deployment, agent safety testing, a $312m UK chip round, and a developer-tooling acquisition that changes who owns a widely used product. The one worth pausing on: SpaceX has completed its $60bn all-stock acquisition of Anysphere, maker of Cursor. Cursor has live London roles and SpaceX has no developer-tooling track record. If your team has Cursor in its stack, roadmap and pricing continuity is a question to raise before the next renewal, not after it. Full detail and every source is in the carousel. This is the first of these. From next week: one story on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with a digest carousel on Sunday. Which of the five would actually change something for your team? #AI #UKTech #HealthTech #Healthcare #AIGovernance #AISafety #CyberSecurity #Funding

AI’s Astra Threshold: When Frontier Models Become Autonomous Zero‑Day Exploit Engines + Video Introduction: OpenAI’s internal evaluations of its upcoming Astra model have for the first time triggered the “Critical” cybersecurity threshold of the company’s Preparedness Framework—a designation reserved for systems that can autonomously identify and weaponise zero‑day vulnerabilities across hardened real‑world infrastructures without human intervention. This landmark event, announced on 7 August 2026, forces a fundamental reassessment of how we contain, test, and ultimately deploy frontier AI in production environments....

What happens when mission-critical data can’t be trusted? That is the problem ADAM Aerospace is built to solve. Across defense, space, AI, autonomous systems, and critical infrastructure, organizations are increasingly making important decisions based on data created by thousands of different systems, sensors, machines, and people. ADAM Aerospace provides a trust and verification layer that helps organizations prove where critical data came from, whether it has changed, and whether it can be trusted. Türkiye is rapidly expanding its capabilities across many of these same strategic technology areas. I’m excited to help introduce ADAM to this ecosystem and build relationships with organizations working on the future of trusted technology. Trusted data. Better decisions. Stronger systems. #Türkiye #ArtificialIntelligence #Defense #CyberSecurity #SpaceTech #DigitalTransformation #Innovation #DeepTech #Data

Excellent insights, Sean Crouse, Ph.D. Great to see your work at CARS featured here. The challenge of determining when AI has sufficient information and assurance to act and when it should defer may become one of the defining questions in aerospace operations. The CARS digital-twin environment sounds like a powerful way to investigate those boundaries.
