Exploring drama roles

Exploring drama roles
I do an exercise with teams when I work inside companies and one of the things I do is I have them stand and I have them tell a story in groups of three and I'll ask one person to tell the story and a second person to be the listener and the third person is going to observe. What these three roles on the triangle have in common is that they all come into the conflict believing that they're at the effect of what's happening, that they aren't out in front of what's happening. have no control of what's happening. The villain tries to take control by being judgmental, the hero tries to take control by making everything pacific, and the victim takes control by collapsing and letting everyone step in. So none of those is going to be particularly sustainable and helpful, especially in a team environment.
