About the Role:
We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team on a contract basis, with fluctuating hours ranging from 2-10 hours per week. Responsibilities:
Design and develop WordPress websites that meet client specifications.
Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create and modify website features.
Work with popular theme builders and designers such as Divi, Elementor, and WPBakery.
Create custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
Assess new web projects and provide time estimates for development tasks.
Ensure all websites meet current accessibility and site speed optimization standards for the best user experience.
Pay close attention to design details, ensuring precise alignment and high-quality standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress design and development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with theme builders/designers like Divi, Elementor, and WPBakery.
Expertise in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Ability to assess web projects and provide accurate time estimates.
Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and site speed optimization best practices.
Excellent design sense and attention to detail.
