Web Developer

We’re recruiting for a SharePoint focused Web Developer to join an innovative, tight-knit team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building robust, scalable solutions where your work will directly impact how users engage with systems across the business. In this role, you’ll take ownership of designing, building and maintaining enterprise-grade intranet and collaboration platforms across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and the wider M365 ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Architecting and developing custom solutions on SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.

• Building modern web parts and applications using SPFx, React and TypeScript.

• Creating integrations with other business systems using REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.

• Supporting and optimising SharePoint tenants through monitoring, diagnostics and performance tuning.

• Working with stakeholders to understand problems and translate them into smart, usable technical solutions.

• Collaborating with delivery teams while also being comfortable owning workstreams independently.

• Communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ commercial experience working with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 in a development capacity.

• A strong technical background with enterprise application development on the Microsoft stack.

Core Technical Skills

• SharePoint Online (Modern + Classic) and tenant administration.

• SPFx development using:

• TypeScript, React, Fluent UI

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS

• REST, Microsoft Graph, PnP, version control

• Microsoft Teams customisation and development.

• PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.

• Debugging, performance analysis and solution optimisation.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience building APIs (e.g. C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET).

• Exposure to DevOps pipelines and modern SDLC practices.

• Knowledge of SQL Server, IIS and backend Microsoft technologies.

• Strong understanding of security and compliance in the M365 world.

• Experience working in regulated or professional-services environments (legal a plus, but not essential).

• An analytical, calm-under-pressure approach with excellent communication skills.
