Goals and Objectives


Drive the next phase of growth by identifying, validating, and helping execute new revenue opportunities across the aviation supply chain. Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Leader on growth priorities, strategic decisions, and Board discussions.


Role Description


This is a commercially driven role that combines strategic thinking, market understanding, customer insight, practical execution to drive revenue growth.


Driving Step-Change Revenue Growth


Growth Opportunity Development


This role will lead initiatives that add $25-50M of revenue growth in the next 3-5 years.


  • Identify, evaluate, and help drive new growth opportunities across the aviation supply chain
  • Assess gaps in the aviation/aerospace supply chain, including areas such as sourcing inefficiencies, inventory visibility, pricing intelligence, repair workflows, and adjacent services
  • Build business cases, test opportunities quickly, and help move the best ideas toward commercialization and scalable revenue streams
  • Execute on initiatives


Potential examples could include but are not limited to:


  • Capture new market segments within the aviation industry.
  • MRO-related opportunities
  • Development of new services and offerings.
  • Adjacent segments
  • Other new commercial, ecosystem, or workflow-based growth areas


Strategic Partnerships, Ecosystem and Corporate Development


This role initially will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams that will be assembled to support the growth initiatives, and subsequently for hiring to staff the growth initiatives as they scale.


  • Identify and execute partnerships that expand supply, demand, data, offerings, or other levers that translate directly to revenue growth
  • Identify high-potential corporate development (M&A) opportunities and work with the corporate team to assess whether and how to take them forward


Named Enterprise and Strategic Opportunity Leadership


This role will be responsible for assembling and leading “tiger teams” that drive revenue from a selected list of the highest value strategic accounts.


  • Penetrate and close named high-value enterprise accounts
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles focused on solving real supply chain problems (availability, pricing, traceability, turnaround time)
  • Partner with sales and collaborate with reps where appropriate on selected deals


New Product, Strategic Product Marketing and Revenue Development


  • Partner with product and engineering to help launch and scale new offerings beyond the current portfolio
  • Help shape strategic product marketing levers tied to revenue growth, including pricing, packaging, positioning, and sales enablement


Strategy and Board


Strategic Partner to the Executive Leader


  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Leader on growth, prioritization, and major business decisions
  • Structure ideas, sharpen recommendations, and pressure-test strategic choices
  • Help leadership determine where to place growth bets and which opportunities merit focused investment


Board Prep and Leadership Support


  • Work with the Executive Leader to prepare for Board meetings and Board discussions
  • Support development of materials related to growth strategy, opportunity areas, investment choices, and major strategic decisions
  • Help translate complex issues into clear recommendations and decision points
