  • Collaborate on a Federal program as a UX/UI Designer, working remotely or from Tysons, VA.
  • Conduct user research aligned with design thinking methodologies.
  • Translate research findings and requirements into actionable design tasks.
  • Ideate and create user interface designs, from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Communicate and share user experience insights with multidisciplinary project teams (designers, engineers, product owners, business analysts, etc.).
  • Organize and maintain design files for seamless developer handoff using tools like Zeplin.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
  • Ensure user interfaces follow web standards, accessibility, and usability best practices (including Section 508 and WCAG).
  • Utilize design tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe Design Suite, or similar.
  • Apply knowledge of human-computer interaction, usability, and responsive web design principles.
  • Demonstrate strong user research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide a portfolio showcasing UX/UI research and design skills.
  • Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 for effective design-to-development handoff.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Public sector technology modernization experience is a plus.
