Solutions Engineer

Onsite – New York City (5 Days Per Week)

$170,000 - $200,000 Base


We're working with one of the fastest-growing infrastructure companies in the developer tooling space that's helping engineering teams dramatically improve the performance and efficiency of their CI/CD environments.

Following exceptional growth, they're now looking to hire a Solutions Engineer to join their New York team and play a key role in helping customers evaluate, adopt, and scale a highly technical platform used by some of the world's most respected engineering organisations.

The What?

  • You'll sit at the intersection of Sales, Engineering and Product, helping customers understand how the platform can improve CI/CD performance, reduce infrastructure costs and streamline developer workflows.
  • This is a highly technical, customer-facing role where you'll lead discovery sessions, deliver product demonstrations, run proof-of-concepts and act as a trusted advisor throughout the evaluation process.


Key Things You'll Be Doing

  • Leading technical discovery and qualification sessions with engineering and platform teams
  • Delivering product demonstrations, technical workshops and architecture discussions
  • Designing and executing proof-of-concepts to validate technical and commercial value
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to engineering stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
  • Helping customers optimise CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows and infrastructure performance
  • Troubleshooting technical challenges and supporting customer evaluations
  • Working closely with Product and Engineering teams to influence future product development
  • Identifying opportunities for customer expansion and long-term adoption
  • Supporting successful handovers from pre-sales to onboarding and customer success teams


What You'll Bring

✅ Experience working as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer or Technical Pre-Sales professional

✅ Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines or developer tooling

✅ Experience engaging directly with engineering teams and technical decision makers

✅ Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders

✅ Experience running proof-of-concepts and driving technical wins throughout the sales process

✅ A commercial mindset with the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes

✅ Someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments


ONSITE WORKING

This role is based in New York City with the team working together onsite five days per week.
