We're a fast-growing company disrupting how organizations think about cyber readiness, and we're looking for a Sales/Solutions Engineer to help us scale.
The Role
As a Sales/Solutions Engineer at ChaosTrack, you'll sit at the intersection of sales and technical delivery — owning the full customer journey from first demo to live deployment. You'll partner closely with our Account Executives to win new business, then roll up your sleeves and ensure customers get real value from the platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who can speak the language of both the CISO and the SOC analyst.
What You'll Do
Pre-Sales
Lead technical discovery calls to understand prospects' security stack, IR maturity, and pain points
Deliver compelling, customized demos tailored to SMB, mid-market, and enterprise audiences
Build and execute POC engagements that demonstrate measurable value
Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with accuracy and speed
Partner with AEs to develop deal strategy and close complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities
Post-Sales
Own technical onboarding and implementation for new customers across all segments
Configure ChaosTrack environments to align with each customer's security workflows and tooling
Run kickoff calls, training sessions, and go-live milestones with customer security teams
Serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding best practices for tabletop exercises and IR automation
Partner with Customer Success to drive adoption, expansion, and renewal
Cross-Functional
Capture and relay customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap
Develop reusable demo environments, technical documentation, and implementation playbooks
Stay current on the cybersecurity landscape — threat trends, competitor products, and frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.)
What We're Looking For
Required
1–5 years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales, or Implementation role (cybersecurity experience strongly preferred)
Solid understanding of the cybersecurity landscape — SIEM, SOAR, EDR, identity, cloud security, and/or incident response tools
Proven ability to run demos and POCs that move deals forward
Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can simplify complex technical concepts for any audience
Comfortable working across deal sizes and buyer personas, from IT managers to CISOs
Self-starter mindset — organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a remote environment
Nice to Have
Experience with tabletop exercises, red team/blue team scenarios, or incident response frameworks
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or FedRAMP
Background in a startup or early-stage SaaS environment
