Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Design and develop features for software frameworks and daemons using Objective-C, Swift, MySQL, and other language and tools used for analysis of performance and correctness. Work on macOS, iOS, and other Apple operating system variants to enable on-device machine learning workflows. Collaborate with partner teams to help debug related issues and fix bugs that arise. Analyze and improve software performance through the use of internal Apple technologies, logging, and performance analysis tools. Work with a variety of cross-functional teams, working with program managers and other engineers to resolve issues and deliver features. Write documentation for the features you build and give talks and guidance to others on the team. Design, implement, and ship code for Apple devices and products. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 - $258,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
• 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
• Using Objective-C to develop iOS software including daemons and/or applications
• Translating requirements into design specifications to ensure software meets the user needs.
• Debugging software using an interactive debugger, including Xcode to triage and reproduce client/server issues.
• Using data visualization, including formatting analytics data and presenting data to experienced engineers.
• Providing feedback throughout the development process including design reviews, code reviews, and postmortems.
• Using Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure that changes are incorporated into shipping software and deployed correctly.
• Using source control systems including git to manage the source code
