Cloetta is Northern Europe’s leading confectionery company, with a portfolio of iconic brands and a long heritage of craftsmanship, quality, and joy. With early U.S. market entry complete, the next phase is to build a strong local marketing engine to introduce and grow our Swedish brands in a way that is locally relevant, culturally resonant, and commercially impactful.
The U.S. Senior Brand Manager plays a central role in this journey. This position will lead brand development and growth in the U.S. market by translating global strategies into locally relevant brand plans and driving execution across channels in close collaboration with U.S. and European stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Group Brand Manager in Sweden, who provides strategic direction and portfolio oversight.
You will also collaborate with the U.S. commercial team, including Trade & Shopper Marketing, to ensure strong in-store execution, as well as with media and agency partners to deliver effective campaigns.
Close interaction with the U.S. Country Manager and global stakeholders will be critical to align strategy and execution across markets.
YOUR MISSION & THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE
As U.S. Senior Brand Manager, your mission is to lead the development and execution of brand strategies that establish and grow Cloetta’s brands in the U.S. market, ensuring strong consumer engagement and sustainable business growth.
You will:
Develop and execute U.S. brand plans aligned with global brand strategy, tailored to local consumers and market dynamics
Bring local consumer, customer, and market insights into strategic decision-making
Lead brand-building initiatives that drive awareness, consideration, and long-term equity
Ensure effective adaptation of global assets for U.S. relevance and impact
Monitor and optimize brand performance, including campaign effectiveness and brand health
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive U.S. Brand Strategy & Execution
Develop U.S. brand strategies rooted in global direction and optimized for local impact
Lead execution of integrated marketing campaigns across channels
Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging in the U.S. market
Lead Agency & Campaign Management
Identify, onboard, and manage creative, PR, and media agencies
Oversee campaign development, execution, and performance
Ensure high-quality, on-brand delivery across all marketing initiatives
Embed Insights into Business Decisions
Translate U.S. consumer, customer, and market insights into actionable recommendations
Support broader business decisions with a strong marketing and brand perspective
Continuously refine approach based on performance data and learnings
Adapt Global Brand Assets for Local Relevance
Tailor global toolkits and assets to resonate with U.S. consumers
Partner with agencies to localize content effectively
Ensure alignment with both brand guidelines and local market expectations
Track Performance & Drive Continuous Improvement
Monitor brand health, campaign effectiveness, and key performance indicators
Identify opportunities to improve marketing impact and efficiency
Optimize marketing investments and activation strategies
WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced and strategic brand marketer who thrives in building brands in new and dynamic markets. You combine strong strategic thinking with a hands-on, action-oriented approach and are motivated by delivering measurable results.
You are collaborative, culturally adaptable, and comfortable working across geographies, functions, and stakeholders in a fast-paced growth environment.
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
7–8 years of progressive marketing experience with a strong focus on brand building in the U.S.
Experience within CPG, preferably in confectionery or related categories such as snack or beverages
Proven ability to launch, adapt, and scale international brands in the U.S. market
Strong understanding of U.S. consumers, retail environments, and competitive dynamics
Experience working cross-functionally with global teams, agencies, and commercial stakeholders
LEADERSHIP PROFILE

WHAT DO WE OFFER?
The compensation range for this position is based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. The salary range for this role is $130,000–$160,000 and is performance bonus eligible.
