Job Summary
The Print Production Manager supports print and digital production initiatives, ensuring the accurate execution of outdoor campaigns, in-theatre marketing materials, and online launches. This role works closely with Production Artists, Print Production leadership, Marketing Services, Creative, Digital, and Brand teams to manage mechanical builds, proofing, specifications, approvals, and distribution of final assets. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in print production workflows within a studio or entertainment environment. This is a temporary onsite assignment supporting a leave of absence, with potential for extension based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and collaborate with Production Artists to build digital and print mechanicals, ensuring accuracy of tech lines, datelines, and finishing notes
- Review and proof mechanicals for accuracy, including cap heights, specifications, comp crops, and contractual obligations
- Coordinate approvals with Print Production leadership and confirm sign-off prior to release
- Confirm tech lines, datelines, and mechanical specifications with in-theatre teams for domestic materials
- Communicate updates or changes to Marketing Services for proofing and compliance review
- Manage final asset distribution to key stakeholders for 1-sheets, oversized formats, standees, and flatcards
- Confirm mechanical information, sizes, FPOs, and legal requirements with cross-functional teams
- Coordinate hero finishes and adaptive materials with Creative and finishing vendors
- Support online launches by confirming launch details, mechanical accuracy, and alignment with finishing comps
- Review media plans and specifications to ensure placement accuracy and compliance
- Review international adaptive mechanicals, creative suites, and line art; secure final international approvals
- Track and report mechanical production costs to Finance, including adjustments for multiple creatives
Job Requirements
- 1–2 years of print production experience
- Proficiency in Box, SharePoint, and Google platforms
- Strong proofing skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to interpret specifications, media plans, and mechanical layouts accurately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a studio or production environment preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Availability to work onsite during standard business hours (9:00 AM–6:00 PM)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
Work Experience
- 1–2 years of print production or marketing production experience
- Studio-side or entertainment industry experience preferred
