Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Pontiac, IL. In this role, you will support manufacturing operations by improving production processes, validating manufacturing methods, troubleshooting shop floor issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, improve, and validate manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Analyze production methods, cycle times, and workflows to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Support production and quality teams by troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Validate new manufacturing processes, prototypes, and Process Change Notifications (PCNs).
• Prepare engineering reports, workflow diagrams, manufacturing documentation, and process improvement recommendations.
• Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and production requirements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing performance.
• Utilize CAD software and engineering tools to support manufacturing process development.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience (internship experience may also be considered).
• Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process validation, and process improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
