About Wooster Games

Wooster Games is the studio behind Animal Company, a free-to-play VR co-op adventure game. At Wooster Games, we believe digital entertainment should be more social, more physical, and creatively empowering. As we scale our experiences to new platforms, we’re partnering with leading tech and entertainment companies to shape the future of interactive play.

As the Lead Producer, you play a critical role in the production of new and exciting games for the studio. You’ll partner directly with the CEO and studio leadership in selecting and directing external partners to create engaging content for our global audience. You will work closely with internal and external partners to drive and manage the release strategy, ensure flawless execution, and maintain overall production readiness from a release management perspective.

  • Drive and support the implementation of process improvements and documentation standards across game production.
  • Leverage and champion AI tool usage and optimization in production operations and processes.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of non-traditional, innovative, or experimental game concepts, applying your experience with new play styles or unique development challenges.
  • Represent Wooster Games at industry events and conferences.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to drive creativity and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for game production.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform game production strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated success in video game production or development, with at least one shipped title as a key contributor or feature owner (e.g., responsible for a major system, pipeline, or content area).
  • Comfortable working directly with founders/executives and making recommendations with incomplete information.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive schedules, monitor task progress and deliverables, and achieve timely completion of project objectives.
  • Proven experience in organizing activities and providing oversight to ensure project adherence and meet deadlines.
  • Deep familiarity with games, youth culture, online communities, and social/UGC ecosystems.
