Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Garland, TX. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, engaging in outbound outreach, preparing proposals, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to present tailored wireless communication solutions. The specialist will maintain accurate records in CRM systems, track pipeline activity, and follow up consistently to drive opportunities to close. This role also involves providing a high level of customer service, representing BearCom at meetings or local events, and contributing ideas to improve sales processes and market positioning.
Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, build relationships, and support a positive customer experience.
  • Lead Generation and Market Research capabilities to identify target accounts, assess opportunities, and develop outreach strategies.
  • Analytical Skills to interpret market data, evaluate sales performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in business development, inside sales, or related commercial roles, preferably in technology, telecommunications, or B2B services.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and basic office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
  • Comfort with on-site work, including in-person prospect meetings, customer visits, and collaboration with local teams in Garland, TX.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
