Larry Warnock shared thisTwo innovative "New Space" companies partnering to deliver solutions that have been major challenges in the past. These kind of breakthrough agreements are accelerating how businesses get to space.Larry Warnock shared thisWe're really excited to announce our partnership with Constellation Space (YC26). Constellation builds ML models that optimize constellation communications around real-life constraints, like weather. WarpWare runs the mission underneath. Together they can do something that operators today are missing: the ability to turn a prediction into an action. For constellation operators, that means a clear picture of when you can talk to each satellite, and satellites that automatically optimize how they route data to each other and to the ground. We're glad to be collaborating with the Constellation team. At SmallSat in Salt Lake City this week? Come find us, or use the link in the comments to book a time to chat!

Larry Warnock shared thisIf you will be at the SmallSat conference in Salt Lake City, please take the time to meet with these guys. Their space ops software platform is a game changer for increasing the speed to get missions flying.Larry Warnock shared thisThe WarpWare team is heading back to SmallSat in a few weeks! This conference has been running for forty years, and the main question hasn't really changed: how quickly can you get a good idea into orbit? That's where we come in. If you're developing a payload, satellite, or components on a timeline that seems impossible, come find us. Reach out here or to mickey@warpware.co and we'll get something on the calendar.

Larry Warnock shared thisAalo Atomic's momentum continues. The partnership with Crusoe is big. That is the same company this is building the large data center near Abilene, TX.Larry Warnock shared thisCrusoe and Aalo Atomics have announced a partnership to develop and deploy what the companies describe as the first nuclear powered AI Factory data centre. The project is intended to assess the use of nuclear power for artificial intelligence workloads. Under the agreement, Aalo plans to provide power for a Crusoe Spark modular data centre running Crusoe Cloud at Idaho National Laboratory in 2027 as part of a proof of concept project. The companies also state that they aim to deploy Aalo Pods and Aalo’s 50 MWe XMR power plants at Crusoe data centres by the end of 2029. Larry Warnock shared thisI am excited to be part of this journey with WarpWare. I invested through the Aggie Angel Network. Keep an eye on this company, they are going places - Ad Astra, "to the stars". (pun intended)!Larry Warnock shared thisWe are pleased to announce that the Aggie Angel Network invested in WarpWare in Q3 2026! WarpWare is an all-in-one flight software platform that enables space companies to simulate, build, test, and operate their missions from a single shared system, cutting development costs by 80% and compressing timelines from 18+ months to just weeks. Founded by Michayal Mathew and Alex Reynolds, former Sierra Space engineers who led flight dynamics and software teams on programs like DreamChaser, WarpWare bootstrapped to $1M in revenue in 2025 with 14 licensing organizations, TRL 8 flight heritage, a NATO DIANA contract win, and premiere implementation partners. A standout case study: LEAP used WarpWare to go from design to launch in just 5 months, saving over $300K and 6+ months of effort. This investment is a powerful example of the Aggie Network in motion as WarpWare co-founder and Aggie Mickey, joined a CDL-Texas Space co-hort through partnership with Mays Business School - Texas A&M University, where AAN members Ben Wiggins and Larry Warnock met WarpWare and connected them to the Aggie Angel Network. Thanks to all involved in building a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem at Texas A&M. Learn more: warpware.co

Larry Warnock shared thisCongratulations to the Aalo Atomic team. Reaching this milestone is HUGE. Not just for the company, but for the country as well. Next generation nuclear is strategic for the USA. Follow this company. Game changer.Larry Warnock shared thisVery excited to announce that at 12:20am on the 4th of July, Aalo achieved criticality on our first full-scale reactor. We cut it close, but we pulled it off!! Working towards this goal with such an incredible group of humans has been the most fulfilling period of my life. This moment has been three years in the making. Last year, Executive Order 14301 called for at least three new reactors to go critical before July 4th, 2026. As of late last Friday night, that goal has been surpassed! When the EO was announced, we immediately sat down to figure out what the most ambitious scope would be, while still being potentially achievable by July 4th. Some of the team proposed doing simplified designs with smaller fuel loads, or building in existing facilities. One thing was clear: We wouldn't have time to integrate a full-scale sodium heat-removal loop to bring the reactor to its full 30 MWt. So here’s where we landed: ➡️ We purchased the entire commercial-scale fuel load. This is enough fuel to operate at 30 MWt / 10 MWe for 3 years before refueling. To my knowledge, it’s the largest fuel load that’s been taken critical in the DOE pilot program, by far. ➡️ We built a full-scale reactor vessel in our factory, and loaded in our commercial graphite layout. All the dimensions, vessel thickness, and manufacturing techniques are essentially the same as we will use for the imminent commercial version. There will be a few minor tweaks for sodium flow and full-power, but nothing major. ➡️ We built an entirely new reactor facility at the Idaho National Lab. Building a building is easy. Building a new reactor facility comes with a mountain of paperwork, policies, operation and training procedures, security, instrumentation and control, and more. Zero-power criticality might seem like a small step, but I can tell you, going through the exercise of building a reactor and taking it to criticality has been extremely valuable. The learnings on regulatory, ops, manufacturing, supply chain, QA, economics, engineering, and design will accelerate our path through to the final iteration at full-power. America is blessed to have a recent Cambrian explosion of startups in nuclear, all going after different markets, technologies, and strategies. I’m excited that sodium, gas, salt, and new PWRs are all getting pushed forward once again. The best outcome for humanity is to have all these advance in parallel, as quickly as possible, while maintaining safety. Thanks again to our amazing team, DOE, INL, BEA, and everyone else who helped us get to where we are today. This could not have happened anywhere else. Happy birthday, America!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 There has never been a better time for nuclear energy. The Second Atomic Age has begun, and this one will be here to stay.

Larry Warnock shared thisAll, this is truly a "company to watch". Please follow and then forward to anyone in the satellite and rocket industry. As my colleagues know, as a VC, I made over 50 investments. As an Angel investor, I have only invested in two. One of them is this team -- WarpWare.Larry Warnock shared thisLEAP launched their rocket this past weekend! And they used the WarpWare platform to do it in less than a year from when they raised their seed round! It's been an absolute pleasure collaborating with them on this and we were so proud to see Bullfrog launch successfully. Software that gets you to space fast, it's not just a tagline!

Larry Warnock liked thisLarry Warnock liked thisSpaceX is building a $100B planetary spaceport in Louisiana 🚀 Elon just made it official: the biggest spaceport on Earth is coming to the Bayou. Louisiana’s governor calls it a “pivotal moment.” Musk? He says it’s the kind of spaceport that “only existed in sci-fi.” 🌌 Key numbers & facts: 💰 $100B investment — the largest capital project in state history 📍 ~506 sq km on Pecan Island — that’s 8x the size of Manhattan 👷 3,000 direct jobs at ~$93K avg salary (nearly 2x the regional norm) — up to 11,100 with indirect roles 🗓️ Construction starts in 2027, first launch in 2029 🛠️ 5 launch complexes (2 pads each) + a dozen+ towers → 30+ Starship flights per DAY 🔋 Fully self-sufficient: on-site fuel production, power plant, deep-water port, recycling, even an airport If this actually happens, SpaceX stops being an aerospace contractor and becomes the architect of a new economic reality — where “Earth business” and “space business” are the same thing. That’s planetary-scale infrastructure. Event horizon, indeed. 🙌

Self-serve is not a channel. It is your first response. When we treated the help center as “docs over there,” it underperformed. When we turned it into the default first step in every workflow, deflection doubled and CSAT held. • Build help center entries like agent playbooks: problem definition, steps, edge cases, success check. • Surface those entries in-product and inside your ticket forms. Do not wait for a search. • Close the loop: if a doc failed, tag it and rewrite within 48 hours. • Measure deflection quality: did the customer complete the task without help? I used to think more articles equals better self-serve. It is actually better answers at the moment of need. If you are a Head of Support and want to build a scalable support system that handles more tickets, keeps customers happy, and hit cost targets, then grab my 5-Step Guide to Scaling Support Without Scaling Headcount. It is designed to give you 5 proven steps to cut backlogs, lower costs, and raise CSAT without adding headcount. Just follow the link in the comments below to grab your copy.

Clear shift in the market for revenue leadership (specifically in lmm pe-backed software) in the past year and I don't think enough sponsors/boards have picked up on it. The top percentile of gtm leaders that know the cadence/pace of play of PE environment AND have demonstrable track record of success in that enviroment are dilegencing your portco harder before entertaining offers. I'm seeing it in searches right now. They're asking about - product-market fit - board alignment on GTM strategy - what the last Sales Leader got wrong and why - the strength of the marketing program - NRR, etc To a degree this has always been the case.. In fact, the pattern recognition signals to me that they know the playing field. The candidates with the most relevant experience have watched enough of these movies to know how they end. The big difference now is that the risk profile of your $50M enterprise software portco has changed for the execs. Why? Because what used to be a 4-5 yr stint is now more likely to be a 6-7 yr battle. That changes how they weigh the risk:reward for your opportunity. The risk is 2 fold: 1) A failed CRO/CMO appointment is visible, it plays out in front of their entire network over 14 months and then the person is back in the market explaining what happened. (this is not new) 2) They do a decent job and still can't get a win after year 6. And even if they do get the win after 6 or 7 years, the payout spread across their years of service to the company is lower. So when a CEO says "our process is moving slow because we want to be thorough" that's fine. But the best candidate in your pipeline is running their own processes at the same time and they're scrutinizing your opportunity just as hard. So, how do you compete now? Well for starters, perhaps you need to revisit the good/bad leaver definitions. Furthermore, you've got to treat top GTM candidates the way you'd treat a perspective buyer. Yes.. you need to close them. This helps: - Clarity on the opportunity. - Speed through the process. - No surprises on scope, or what the first 90 days actually look like. - Get your story/numbers straight.. act like your selling the company (you are). - Lastly, if you want top percentile talent be prepare to remunerate appropriately. Your process is either earning the candidate or losing them. There's no neutral.

Two weeks ago on Swimming with Allocators, we sat down with David Clark, CIO at VenCap, to talk about what decades of venture data can teach allocators. One takeaway that stood out: discounts don’t matter as much as people think in venture secondaries. Because venture is such a power-law asset class, outcomes are driven by exposure to a few massive winners. Whether a stake is bought at a small discount, or even a premium, often matters far less than the quality of the underlying company and its upside. Great conversation on venture returns, manager selection, and the nuances of how allocators should think about secondary investments. 👇 Link in the comments.
