Despite the saturation, I'm fortunate to have the flexibility to focus on finding the best match rather than settling for any opportunity that comes my way. In the meantime, I have been dedicating my time and efforts to our side business, Tennessee Dreams, LLC, which Sheila and I established in 2019. Initially, it was created to manage a rental cabin we purchased that same year. However, in 2020, we expanded the business to incorporate my passion for woodworking. Although we primarily catered to local requests in the past, I have recently increased our inventory and participated in our first event over the weekend. From the mountains of East Tennessee to stages around the world, Dolly carried the spirit of the Volunteer State wherever she went. Her extraordinary talent made her an icon, but her generosity, humility, and love for others made her a true Tennessee treasure. Jeff Carter liked thisJeff Carter liked thisTen years. It’s hard to believe. A decade ago, I joined Sykes on what I thought would simply be the next chapter in my career. That journey evolved through Sitel and ultimately Foundever, and along the way it became so much more than a job. Over the past ten years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented, passionate, and resilient people I’ve ever known. I’ve been challenged, inspired, and supported by incredible colleagues, mentors, clients, and friends who have each left a lasting mark on me. Thank you for your trust, your partnership, your laughter, and the countless lessons you’ve shared. This journey also gave me something I’ll always treasure—the opportunity to experience so many places, cultures, and perspectives around the world. Every place, every client, and every team broadened my perspective and reinforced something I believe deeply: every person has something to teach us if we’re willing to listen. As I reflect on this decade, I do so with tremendous gratitude and humility. While I was fortunate to lead incredible teams, the truth is that I learned far more from others than I could ever hope to teach. My hope is simply that I was able to give back even a fraction of what I received. Looking back, what stands out most isn’t the titles, the numbers, or the milestones—it’s the people, the relationships, and the trust. Those are the things I’ll carry forward. To everyone who has been part of this journey—from Sykes to Sitel to Foundever—thank you. Thank you for believing in me, challenging me, teaching me, and allowing me to be part of your journey as well. It has truly been the privilege of a lifetime.
