At HII Mission Technologies, we’re engineering the future of autonomous operations across every domain. Operating on dozens of unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and hundreds of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs), HII's Odyssey AI-driven, command and control software has been proving what scalable autonomy can achieve. Whether powering high endurance USVs like ROMULUS, or executing deep‑ocean missions with REMUS UUVs, Odyssey's resilient communications, multi‑platform coordination, and advanced simulation tools enable operators to plan smarter, react faster, and extend mission reach where humans can’t always go. Supporting autonomous missions like ISR, surveying, and strike support for 20+ years, we deliver the capabilities necessary for a hybrid fleet for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and global partners. Autonomy isn’t tomorrow’s capability - it’s here, rapidly deployable, and ready now. See how Odyssey is redefining autonomy: Odyssey | HII

Life at sea can get pretty ruff, but these furry friends help every Sailor keep a paw-sitive outlook so they can serve our country to the best of their ability. 🐶 Today is #NationalDogDay, and to celebrate, we're highlighting the Expeditionary Facility Dogs that serve aboard HII-built ships, helping Sailors overcome some of the mental and emotional challenges they may face while on deployment. These include the four-legged captains assigned to the aircraft carriers built by Newport News Shipbuilding, A Division of HII: • Capt. Rudder, assigned to USS Carl Vinson (#CVN70) • Capt. Sage, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford (#CVN78) • Capt. Fathom, assigned to USS Abraham Lincoln (#CVN72), and Cmdr. Ike, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (#LHD1), built by Ingalls Shipbuilding, a Division of HII. We're proud to partner with Mutts With A Mission, a nonprofit that trains highly skilled service dogs for disabled veterans, first responders, and law enforcement at no cost to the recipients. Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is also sponsoring Gizmo, who made one of his first major public appearances at the Sea-Air-Space Expo, through the organization. Over the next 18–24 months, he will develop new skills, strengthen his confidence, and prepare for the service role that best matches his natural abilities. HII has a proven track record of building the career of anyone, no matter the species, so they can walk in their purpose. 🐾 📸: US Navy/MCC Smith, MCSA Terrell, MC2 Kibler, MC2 Illenye, HII

Shipbuilders have finished installing the bow on the future USS Pittsburgh (LPD 31), bringing another major section of the hull into place. Completing the lift required careful planning and coordination as riggers, crane operators, shipfitters and welders worked to safely position the massive structure, ensuring it aligned with the rest of the hull. Way to go, shipbuilders! Because of your incredible teamwork, another milestone has been achieved on LPD 31. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eJxGMpcF

What we create is powerful. Who creates it is extraordinary. Dajanelle Linton Robinson, a rigging apprentice, gained experience through a high school program before coming to Newport News Shipbuilding, A Division of HII. “There is a program at Hampton High School called the Academy of Technology and Engineering. A lot of the things I do now as an apprentice, I was already learning in school.” With her teachers’ encouragement, she joined NNS. Linton Robinson also plays basketball for The NNS Apprentice School. “Basketball has taught me how to adapt. You have new girls on the team every year, and as an apprentice you rotate and work with new crews often. I have to be open to everyone, and willing to learn from them, too.” #BeyondTheBuild

#RIMPAC2026 is the largest maritime military exercise in the world—providing a glimpse into the future of warfare. This year's exercise brought together 30 nations, 30 surface ships, 30,000 personnel, five submarines, and nearly 200 aircraft to train in the seas around the Hawaiian Islands. In the latest episode of #MissionCritical, Host Ryan Robertson sits down with retired Rear Admiral Michael "Buzz" Donnelly to discuss: • Why RIMPAC remains critical to deterrence and alliance-building • How command-and-control technologies are transforming military operations • The growing role of cyber, space, and unmanned systems • Why interoperability between allied nations matters more than ever • What RIMPAC could look like in the next 20 years One of the most interesting takeaways: despite advances in technology and automation, the exercise remains fundamentally about building trust between nations before a crisis occurs. Watch the full episode and share your thoughts. 🎥Mission Critical Episode 16 | RIMPAC 2026: Inside the world's largest naval war game Sponsored by HII
