We're proud to open our newest micro-fulfillment center (MFC) in Kent, Washington—another step forward in how we're building the future of pharmacy care. The advanced facility will support nearly 200 Walgreens stores across Washington, Oregon and Idaho and create more than 85 new jobs in the greater Seattle area. By centralizing routine prescription fulfillment, our MFC network helps pharmacy teams focus more on delivering personalized care and services that patients depend on every day. We’ve officially opened the doors to a new Walgreens store in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida—the first of six planned openings in the months ahead—and it’s already making an impact. This new location expands access to essential pharmacy services and everyday health and wellness products, while also creating 18 new jobs in the community. Fully staffed from Day One, the team is ready to serve and support local residents. The grand opening brought together community members, local media and Walgreens leadership—a great reminder that every new store is more than a location.
