Finish Friday!…. As promised, the end results of this week’s project! Michael Giarratano and I have been hard at it this week (kind of). If you recall, I posted some photos and asked if anyone “Had any guesses?” Here’s a compilation of photos taken this week while we installed a 16” Riser on a Caterpillar Inc. 336 Next Gen HEX for one of our customers that work the oil patch. The riser allows the unit to work in slurry ponds all while keeping the critical gear, engine, hydraulics and cab out of the possible contamination. The riser raises the carbody to 5 1/2’ from ground level. We have to install some fabricated steps to ease access to the cab and platform which will be completed next week. It’s been a fun project and it’s been a day or two since I’ve completed other ones like this! As always folks, if you’re in the Wagner Equipment territory and have a unique project, we have the talent and drive to help you out!
