At our first barrier-free toll environment in Daulatpura, India, ViaPlus brings together proven technology for scale, accuracy, and real‑world performance. The ViaPlus solution combines a new lane system and advanced technologies to automatically capture and validate vehicles - no stopping required. Each year, ViaPlus systems process 2.7 billion electronic toll transactions in India and 4.3 billion transactions globally. At Daulatpura, this expertise is paired with AI-powered license plate recognition and a robust back-office platform to deliver a seamless, fully-automated tolling experience on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. 🛣️ViaPlus is proud to celebrate the successful delivery of our new barrier-free electronic toll system in India, located at Daulatpura on the Delhi–Jaipur Expressway 🇮🇳 This milestone, delivered in just five months, marks ViaPlus’ first multi-lane free-flow deployment in India and supports the country’s transition to barrier-free tolling on one of its busiest six-lane highways. The 242 km (150-mile) corridor connects New Delhi with the state of Rajasthan and serves more than 10 million vehicles annually. As the system integrator, ViaPlus led the end-to-end delivery of the Daulatpura solution. The site features a new lane system, overhead vehicle detection and classification sensors, and ViaPlus’ advanced Alpha® back-office platform and AI-based Sightline® image review technology to process license plate transactions. Surveying, design, construction, and integration were carried out in parallel to accelerate delivery. Delivering at this speed required tight coordination, daily collaboration, and a strong focus on quality and risk management. It also highlights the strength of our technology, including AI-driven automation and advanced system architecture built for high-volume, real-world conditions. Completing a complex project of this scale on schedule reinforces our commitment to reliable execution and to supporting the future of seamless mobility in India. Today, ViaPlus processes more than 40% of India’s electronic toll collection transactions, reflecting our strong presence and trusted role in one of the world’s largest tolling markets.
