Upchurch and Hillsborough County Public Schools Partner to Enhance HVAC Service Across the District Every student deserves a classroom where they can focus. Every teacher deserves an environment where they can teach. That starts with reliable, comfortable air. Upchurch is proud to announce our partnership with Hillsborough County Public Schools through our UptimeOps program—a rapid-response maintenance and repair model focused on air conditioning and building controls systems across the district. UptimeOps was built for critical environments where uptime matters. By combining skilled technicians, streamlined processes, and a proactive approach to maintenance, we're helping keep classrooms comfortable, reduce equipment downtime, and support uninterrupted learning. When an HVAC system goes down, the impact is immediate. Our job is to respond quickly, solve problems efficiently, and help ensure students and educators have the reliable building systems they depend on every day. We're honored to partner with Hillsborough County Public Schools and look forward to supporting one of the nation's largest school districts with dependable building services that make a difference. 

The Fourth of July is one of the best weekends of the year to spend time with family and friends. It's also one of the busiest weekends on the roads, on the water, and around grills and fireworks.   Before the holiday gets started, here's a simple reminder: don't let a preventable accident ruin the weekend.   A few things worth remembering: •Slow down and eliminate distractions while driving. •Never drive impaired. •Keep grills and fire pits a safe distance from homes and combustible materials. •Leave fireworks to the professionals when possible. If you're using consumer fireworks, follow local laws and keep children at a safe distance. •Stay hydrated, especially if you're working or spending extended time outdoors in the heat. If you're boating, wear a life jacket—it only works if you have it on. At Upchurch, we believe safety doesn't end when the workday does. The same habits that keep us safe on the job help protect our families at home.

June is National Safety Month, and it’s a great opportunity to recognize the role each of us plays in creating a safe workplace at Upchurch.   As Director of Corporate Safety, I have the privilege of working alongside employees who demonstrate every day that safety is more than a requirement—it’s a commitment to one another. Whether we are serving healthcare facilities, educational campuses, commercial properties, or critical infrastructure, our goal remains the same: ensuring everyone returns home safely.   The National Safety Council established National Safety Month to promote awareness around injury prevention and workplace safety. While June highlights these efforts, safety is a focus at Upchurch every day of the year.   A strong safety culture is built through training, accountability, communication, and the willingness to speak up when something doesn't look right. It's the everyday actions of our technicians, supervisors, and team members that help prevent incidents and protect one another.   Thank you to every member of the Upchurch team for your commitment to working safely and professionally. This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the true meaning of freedom and the responsibility we all share to lead with gratitude, respect, and service to others. As we spend time with family and friends this weekend, we pause to recognize those who made the ultimate sacrifice and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.
