  • Kristi joined the Distribution Center in 2016 as an entry-level picker. Today, she is our Fulfillment and Distribution Lead, overseeing operations, driving process improvements, and supporting the implementation of systems that keep the Distribution Center running smarter. That is a career built from the ground up through curiosity and follow-through. Ten years of that kind of growth, from day one on the floor to becoming a key part of our Distribution Center's success, is exactly what we want The Pond Guy to be for people. Congratulations & gratitude, Kristi Kelly!

  • The best pond advice starts with expert training. 🌿 Every year, our Pond Experts sharpen their skills with hands-on aquatic weed identification training, learning how to recognize the plants and algae that pond owners encounter every day. The better we understand the problem, the better we can recommend the right solution. It's just one of the many ways we invest in our team so they can confidently help customers enjoy their ponds. Interested in turning your love of the outdoors into a career? We're always looking for passionate people to join our team. #LifeAtThePondGuy #NowHiring #PondExperts #EmployeeTraining #ThePondGuy

  • Career changes can feel intimidating, especially when they involve stepping into an entirely new industry. Corinne’s story is a great reminder of why mentorship, hands-on learning, and a supportive team matter! For anyone hesitant to make the leap into a new industry because they don’t have pond experience, that’s okay. You don’t need to know ponds on day one. We provide structured pond education programs, weekly mentorship, and ongoing career development opportunities that range from software training to public speaking. Here’s to many more milestones ahead, Corinne! 🎉

Six months ago, I took a leap of faith and joined The Pond Guy, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. After a decade in retail leadership, starting over in a completely new industry was exciting, but also intimidating. From day one, I knew I had joined a company that truly invests in its people. One of the things that stood out most was The Pond Guy’s mentorship program. Every new employee is paired with a mentor during their first six months, and having that support made all the difference as I learned an entirely new industry. Over the past six months, I’ve had the opportunity to install fountains, participate in continuous training, and grow more than I ever expected. At the same time, balancing my MBA in Marketing has reinforced something I now see firsthand every day: great brands aren’t built by products alone; they’re built by the people, relationships, and experiences they create. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone at The Pond Guy for believing in me and investing in my growth. Six months ago, I took a chance on myself. Today, I know it was worth it. I’m excited for many more months at TPG!🐟🎉

  • One of our favorite days of the year is in the books. The Pond Guy team was proud to support CAST for Kids and spend the day helping create meaningful experiences for children and families in our community. Moments like these reflect the culture we're proud to build: one centered on teamwork, service, and making a positive impact beyond the workplace. Interested in being part of it? We're hiring. • Every great day on the water deserves a great ending. After a full day of fishing, participants, families, volunteers, and sponsors gathered together for lunch to share stories, celebrate successes, and reflect on the memories made throughout the day. One of the highlights was hearing participants proudly announce how many fish they caught. While every catch was worth celebrating, a few anglers had especially impressive days, with some reeling in as many as 18 fish! The day concluded with an awards ceremony where each participant received a tackle box, fishing pole, and a commemorative plaque to remember their Cast for Kids experience. More than the gifts themselves, these awards represent a day of friendship, confidence, new experiences, and time spent enjoying the outdoors. Thank you to the C.A.S.T for Kids Foundation and Happy Day Fishing Camp, our volunteers, and everyone who helped make this year's event such a success. We're honored to be part of a community that helps create memories that will last long after the final cast.
