Under the bright Florida sun, surrounded by partners, community leaders, and our dedicated yard team, Hinckley Yacht Services celebrated a major milestone: the grand opening of its brand-new, state-of-the-art storage and service facility in Stuart, Florida. Purpose-built to meet Category 5 hurricane standards, this new 43,000-square-foot structure brings unmatched security, advanced infrastructure, and refined service capabilities to owners of all make and model yachts in the Treasure Coast yachting community. The ribbon cutting ceremony welcomed guests from Hinckley Yachts, Ahrens Design and Construction, the Business Development Board of Martin County, and the Martin County Chamber of Commerce—all of whom played a critical role in bringing this ambitious vision to life. https://lnkd.in/e-eDVuEY

Rhode Island Boaters! House Bill 6256, the boat tax bill, has officially been scheduled for a hearing for the House Finance Committee this Tuesday (tomorrow). We now urgently need your help to gain attention of the committee with opposition emails and letters before it’s too late. Even if you’ve already contacted your local representative, please send that same message directly to the committee at: HouseFinance@rilegislature.gov. Every email counts, even duplicates, and it’s important that the committee hears from you before Tuesday afternoon. Below is a sample email you can copy, paste and email directly to HouseFinance@rilegislature.gov. Subject: Oppose H6256 – Don’t Tax Boats Dear House Finance Committee, As a Rhode Island boater, I strongly oppose H6256. Reinstating a tax on boats will hurt everyday Rhode Islanders by pricing us out of access to our waters, driving both boaters and marine-related businesses out of state, threatening local jobs and negatively impacting our economy Please vote NO on H6256. Don’t sink Rhode Island’s marine industry. Sincerely, [Your Name] [Your Town]
