Last month, I had the privilege of attending/supporting the 3rd Annual African American Leadership Summit at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center and what an incredible experience it was 🤩♥️ I’m walking away from this Leadership Summit feeling energized, inspired, and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside so many amazing leaders. The biggest takeaway? Leadership is about IMPACT & more importantly: Growing Stronger Together 💪🏼. It’s how we show up for our people, how we challenge ourselves to grow, and how we create opportunities for others to become the best versions of themselves. Throughout the summit, we shared ideas, built meaningful connections, challenged our thinking, celebrated successes, and gained new perspectives that we can take back to our teams. The conversations didn’t just fill a room. They sparked ideas that have the potential to create real change. I’m especially grateful for everyone who poured their time, energy, and knowledge into making this experience so impactful. Moments like these remind me that leadership is a journey, and there is always another level to reach. Now comes the most important part: taking what we learned and putting it into action. 🚀 Here’s to continuing to learn, continuing to grow, and most importantly, continuing to make an impact on the people we have the privilege of leading.

Last week, I wrapped up my 10-week summer internship program at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center. Throughout my time at TXRH, I had the opportunity to rotate throughout three different departments: Training, Procurement, and Marketing. Within each rotation, I was able to work on hands-on projects as well as gain new perspectives on how each department supports the restaurant operations. Outside of my rotations, I got to work alongside my fellow interns on a final presentation which gave us an opportunity to come together and take what we had learned on our own to apply it to our group project. We presented to Support Center leadership and it was very rewarding to share with others everything we had learned. As I reflect on my experience this summer, I am feeling incredibly grateful for not only learning many professional skills, but also meeting so many supportive people. Thank you to the Roadie family for putting in so much time and effort into developing the internship program and helping us grow. It was an unforgettable summer! Big thank you to my fellow interns for playing a huge part in my personal development, I couldn’t have done it without you all. I’m proud to share that I’ve been recognized as TXRH Q2 Support Center Employee of the Quarter! This achievement means a lot, and I’m sincerely thankful I get to work with the best team and department! Their support, trust, and teamwork make all the difference. I’m beyond grateful to work alongside such amazing people and excited to keep contributing to our goals! Texas Roadhouse ❤️
