Shoutout to Skybeck Construction for showing up big for Water Olympics at ASC! ⁠ ⁠ Your team brought the fun, the energy, and the best kind of chaos. Our campers had an absolute blast thanks to you.⁠ ⁠ Skybeck has been an incredible partner and continues to be deeply involved with our mission, and we’re so grateful for your ongoing support!

Magic. The one word that encapsulates what happens at Austin Sunshine Camps. Making a new friend, canoeing on the lake for the first time, reaching the top of the high ropes course, it is all magic.

Appreciation. For everyone who makes camp possible. From our summer and full time staff, to volunteers, corporate sponsors, program partners, funders, donors, and everyone in between.

JOY. It's what we feel when we see the smiles on our campers faces.⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠

The last day of camp has us feeling all of the emotions 🥺⁠ ⁠ From dance parties and karaoke nights to canoeing, swimming, train rides, and visits to the botanical gardens, our campers experienced a summer packed with joy, growth, and unforgettable moments.⁠ ⁠ On behalf of all 500 of our amazing campers, thank you for making the magic of overnight camp possible. ⁠ ⁠ P.S. Checking in with our Lake Travis graduating campers as they work on their 2025 class project!⁠ ⁠ All LT campers who are in their final summer of camp are painting their own bricks to to create a mural representing their time at ASC.⁠ ⁠ We are so excited for them to be able to leave their mark and start a new tradition of class projects as their legacy at Austin Sunshine Camps!

Thank you to @wildheartyoga for coming out to lead a session for our camp staff!⁠ ⁠ It was the perfect opportunity for our counselors to take an hour to relax and care for themselves.⁠ ⁠ We are so happy that we were able to include these sessions as part of our counselor wellness programming. ⁠

We are seeking a detail-oriented, relationship-driven Events Manager to join our Development team. This person will lead the planning and execution of ASC-hosted development events and collaborate on high-impact fundraising initiatives in partnership with external stakeholders. When we aren’t conducting our camp programs, we open the doors of our Zilker Lodge to the community as a unique rental venue, hosting a variety of meetings and special events. The Events Manager will also support these rental events, ensuring a smooth and high-quality experience for guests while advancing ASC’s mission. Interested in this role? The egg drop is back at Lake Travis!⁠ ⁠ Campers get to practice their engineering and physics skills figuring out how to protect their egg from breaking when it's dropped from the top of a ladder. ⁠ ⁠ The teams who successfully protect their eggs earn points in the session long team competition!

Thank you to the @texaswildlifeassociation for coming out to lead a fun activity for all of our campers this summer!⁠ ⁠ Campers were able to see animal fur and skulls and learn how to identify them.⁠ ⁠ We appreciate all of our programming partners who help bring new and interesting experiences to our campers!
