  • The teams getting real relief from AI are the ones measuring it on outcomes instead of output. That is not a coincidence. When success gets defined by the people closest to the work, the tools get pointed at the work that actually matters. The State of ITSM 2026 report digs into who sets service desk KPIs, who does the work, and what changes when those two desks finally talk. • Hybrid cloud sprawl doesn't simplify itself, which is why our observability and security experts are heading to AWS Summit São Paulo on September 3. Find the SolarWinds team at Stand 605 at the São Paulo Expo for live demos on automating insights, managing risk, and gaining clear visibility across complex environments. Bring your toughest questions. We'll be on the floor all day. 💻 See the full agenda and register here: https://lnkd.in/dD5ePCKp #SolarWinds #AWSSummit

  • Test engineers spend their careers making software behave predictably, so there's a nice irony in Emílie Kratochvílová naming unpredictability as the thing she loves most about IT. From our Shared Engineering team in Brno, she keeps SolarWinds online demos honest, and apparently the curveballs are the perk, not the price. Another entry in our Inside SolarWinds series, straight from the people who live it. #SolarWinds #InsideSolarWinds

  • AI is supposed to give IT teams time back. For many teams, it is also creating a new job: checking the work. In our 2026 IT Trends Report, 71% of IT professionals said the biggest friction AI adds is having to double-check its output. 62% said they struggle to trust its recommendations at all. That is the trust tax. Time saved on the task gets spent verifying the result. The cause sits underneath the symptom. 83% agree AI is only as effective as the breadth and quality of the data it can see, and 67% report at least moderate fragmentation across their environment. Fragmented data produces output worth second-guessing. Read the full report to see where the friction is landing. #SolarWinds #Observability #AI

  • Some of the biggest leaps in technology have women behind them. Across programming, software engineering, computer science, AI, and beyond, women have helped define major chapters in the history of tech. Their contributions did more than advance individual fields. They opened doors for the people and ideas that followed. On Women’s Equality Day, we’re recognizing the women whose work helped shape this industry and those continuing to push it forward today. #SolarWinds #WomensEqualityDay #WomenInTech

  • Service is back. That is the visible milestone. Before an incident is resolved, there is quieter work left to do: Verify the recovery against the original symptom. Rebuild the sequence of signals. Record why the team acted. Assign the follow-up. Close the gap the incident exposed. That work is easy to miss because, when it succeeds, the next incident may never happen. In our 2026 IT Trends Report, 66% of IT professionals say they are spending more time preventing issues before impact. Recovery gets service back. Resolution changes what happens next. Read the full report to see how IT work is moving from reactive response toward proactive prevention. https://lnkd.in/duAx_dD6 #SolarWinds #Observability #ITSM #ITOps

  • Only 7% of the 844 IT professionals in our State of ITSM research said AI cost what they expected it to cost. The gap is not in the licensing. It is data cleanup, knowledge base rework, model tuning, retraining after drift, integration upkeep. None of it one time, none of it on the original quote. The more telling number is what teams did next. 85% increased their AI budget anyway. ⬇️ Full report: https://lnkd.in/dgUwuVh4 #SolarWinds #ITSM #ServiceDesk #StateOfITSM

Ask a C-suite leader how prepared their IT team is for AI, and nearly half will say extremely prepared. Ask the technical contributors doing that work, and only one in eight will say the same. That gap is one of the most telling findings in our 2026 IT Trends Report, and it doesn't stop at preparedness. It shows up on adoption, on skills, on whether the job has changed at all. If you've felt the distance between what leadership assumes and what your day actually looks like, the data is on your side.
