  • Connection fuels collaboration.   Recently Lifetouch and Shutterfly employees at the Eden Prairie, Minnesota office came together for our annual summer BBQ where they spent time building relationships and sharing laughs.   Special thanks to the leaders and team members who jumped in to work the grill! 🍔

Strong teams are built through connection. Yesterday, Lifetouch and Shutterfly employees gathered for our annual patio BBQ, enjoying an afternoon of food, music, yard games, and conversation. Events like these are a great reminder of the value of taking time to connect, build relationships, and strengthen our community. Thanks to everyone who joined us for another great summer tradition. ☀️

  • We're excited to welcome Ameet Ranadive to Shutterfly as our new Chief Product Officer.   His passion for creating customer-loved experiences and vision for the future of AI-powered memory keeping will help us shape what's next. Welcome to the team, Ameet! 🎉

Hi everyone, I’m thrilled to share that today I joined Shutterfly as Chief Product Officer! Shutterfly is an enduring consumer brand that has served millions of customers, and is the trusted home for more than 80 billion of their photos. The mission–to help people preserve and share their memories by creating beautiful physical products–attracted me. Having spent the last several years helping people discover and book travel experiences at GetYourGuide, Shutterfly feels like the next logical step. Now I can help people preserve and share those memories–not only from travel but also from weddings, family milestones, holidays, and everyday moments. I’m super excited about how AI can make it easier to turn your memories into physical products. I also felt a strong connection with the leadership team and the culture of Shutterfly as I’ve gotten to know them. I’m looking forward to diving in, learning more about the opportunities ahead, building products customers love, and working closely with the entire Shutterfly team!

  • We're grateful to all of our Shutterfly and Lifetouch team members who partnered with Hearts & Hammers to support a local homeowner and strengthen their community. 🧡 💙   Thank you to everyone who volunteered, and to Anita for the beautiful watercolor portraits. 🔨 🎨

At Lifetouch, we spend our days helping preserve meaningful moments. This week, we had the opportunity to create one. Through Hearts & Hammers, Lifetouch and Shutterfly volunteers came together to help homeowner Anita with painting, landscaping, and exterior home improvements. Working side by side over several days, our teams were reminded that the strongest communities are built through service, connection, and care. What made the experience even more memorable was Anita herself. An artist, she expressed her gratitude by creating watercolor portraits of our volunteers, a thoughtful gift that captured the spirit of the week and the relationships formed along the way. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and talents. We're proud to be part of a team that shows up for others and makes a difference in the communities we serve. ❤️🔨 #HeartsAndHammers #CommunityImpact #Volunteerism #Lifetouch #Shutterfly

  • At Shutterfly, we believe meaningful conversations create stronger, more connected teams. Recently, ShutterColors, one of our ShuttERGroups (ERGs), hosted a session led by guest educator Dr. WandaJean Jones on an experience that resonates with many professionals at every stage of their careers: impostor syndrome.   Together, team members explored a significant truth: impostor syndrome isn’t about a lack of ability, but it’s often a gap between what we’ve achieved and how we feel about it. In fact, some research suggests people most likely to experience impostor syndrome are often high achievers. Through open dialogue and shared experiences, the team reflected on how self-doubt can hold us back and how we can actively work through it.  We’re proud of our ShutterColors members and all ShuttERGroups for showing up authentically, supporting one another, and continuing to build confidence together. What a time at NeoCon 💙 From booth setup to connecting with commercial designer community, NeoCon was an incredible opportunity to share how Spoonflower's print-on-demand wallpaper, fabric and decor support creative commercial projects. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth explored what's new. Explore the details of our Spoonflower Trade Program today to learn more before next time >> https://lnkd.in/es37Utbn

    • Four individuals stand together smiling in front of a Spoonflower display, featuring various fabric patterns and designs. They are wearing name tags. The setting appears to be an exhibition or trade show booth.
    • A showroom with wall displays featuring various Spoonflower wallpaper patterns, including floral and geometric designs. A table with chairs is positioned in front. Overhead lighting illuminates the space.
    • A person is painting at a desk with watercolors, surrounded by art supplies. Behind them is a large floral mural with "Spoonflower" written at the top. The wall displays designs of birds and flowers. Fabric samples with floral patterns are visible in the background.
    • A display wall at Spoonflower featuring five fabric designs: a plain brown, a traditional plaid, a bold abstract pattern with loops, a modern design with monochrome foliage, and a botanical print with pink flowers.
  • For 13 years, self-proclaimed “print nerd” Mary D. has brought passion and precision to ensuring our products are the best they can be 🧡. As a Senior Quality Manager, Mary is part of a dedicated team that makes sure every Shutterfly order is meaningful and something customers are proud to keep, share, and gift 🎁. When asked how she’d explain her job to a 5th grader, Mary said: “I love that our products are tangible and fun so it would definitely be a show and tell: I help turn moments and stories trapped in your screen into awesome products you can actually hold in your hand and show off and share with your family and friends.” Recently, she’s been focused on ensuring our quality systems are consistent behind the scenes. She loves to be out on the manufacturing floor, partnering with the team to make great products. Looking ahead, Mary is excited about how new technology is shaping the customer experience, and how we’re continuing to make our products even more meaningful and relevant for the people who trust us with their memories. We’re thrilled to have team members like Mary bringing their passion, precision, and care to work every day. • “Pride is about more than one month. It's about creating spaces where people feel seen, valued and safe to be themselves every day,” said Eriksen Graham, president of ShutterPride.  Throughout June, our ShutterPride ERG (or ShuttERGroups as we call them), brought team members together through a variety of virtual events that celebrated LGBTQ+ history, culture, and community:  🌈 The group kicked off Pride Month by celebrating what Pride means to each person and set the tone for a month of learning and connection. 🧠 The Pride Trivia event mixed LGBTQ+ history with pop culture, challenging participants to identify influential LGBTQ+ icons while adding a little fun with questions inspired by RuPaul's Drag Race. 🏳️🌈 During the "Pride Through the Decades" session, team members explored how Pride has evolved from the 1950s through the 2020s, reflected on the progress that has been made, and recognized the work that still lies ahead. We’re grateful to ShutterPride and all of our ShuttERGroups who build meaningful, supportive communities that are open and welcoming to all employees. • Meet one of the creative minds behind our Snapfish brand, Lindsay Buie, Art Director. With more than six years at Shutterfly and Snapfish, Lindsay has built a career rooted in collaboration, creativity, and nurturing ideas from concept to reality. 💡 Her favorite part of the job is partnering with talented teams across the business to turn ideas into impactful creative. From sketches to studio sets, she loves seeing different perspectives come together to create something special. 🎨 She’d explain her job to a 5th grader as being the director of a school play: bringing photographers, designers, and stylists together to create something amazing, with fewer costumes and a LOT more photos. 🎬 Looking ahead, she’s excited to connect with new audiences and expand creative reach across global markets, from Europe to New Zealand! 🌍 We’re proud to have passionate, creative team members like Lindsay shaping our brands every day. • Small acts. Big impact. 🧡 Recently our Texas team partnered with the Plano Police Department and Children’s Medical Center Plano to bring comfort to young patients through the Teddy Bear Program. 🧸 Together, more than 270 teddy bears were delivered, helping create moments of comfort, connection, and even a few smiles during difficult times.   “Working together to make these things happen is so amazing,” said Christopher Garza, Shutterfly Plano Facilities Manager.  “It was almost hard for me to hold it together when I saw the looks on their faces. It might seem simple to some, but it reminds me why we do this … it drives us to do even more.” At Shutterfly, showing up for our community is at the heart of what we do — and we’re grateful to our Texas team and partners for making a difference. Since 2020, the Plano Chapter of the Shutterfly Foundation has contributed nearly $60k and hundreds of employee volunteer hours back into the Plano community supporting a variety of non-profit causes including childhood cancer and food pantries. 👉 Read more: https://bit.ly/4wX57Vn
