Mission Readiness in the Deep Freeze ❄️ When a recent winter storm dropped eight inches of snow on the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Base, the SSI snow removal teams didn't miss a beat. Led by Jim Lichtenthal and Al Amato, our crews worked around the clock to ensure the installation remained fully operational. Restoring runways and taxiways under these conditions requires more than just heavy machinery; it requires elite coordination, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the mission. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our team, we achieved minimal disruption and maximum safety for the base.
