Revel is assembling the greatest team of engineers and operators on the planet to deliver the next generation of software for the physical world. We’re hiring across the US, with offices in LA, SF, and soon NYC. We have over 100 open positions, but we are not racing to hit a headcount metric. The true product of Revel is the team. Maintaining extraordinary talent density is our #1 priority as we grow. We’re launching 3 new product teams and looking for engineers and product managers who will shape them from day one. Reach out if you think Revel could be a good fit, regardless of current roles listed.

TL;DR: If you're an engineer (or know one) with a strong Computer Science or Hardware background who wants a one-of-a-kind mix of software development, hardware control, and on-site work with some of the most innovative companies in hard tech, our Forward Deployed Engineering team is growing fast and we want you! https://lnkd.in/gE2-Z_aw One of the biggest frustrations I hear from programmers is how they wish they could see the tangible impacts of their work more often and more directly. It's a frustration I've shared at several points in my career, and one I'm very happy is firmly in my rearview since joining Revel. Every day, I get to write code that our customers use to monitor and control real hardware systems: rocket engine test stands, nuclear reactors, and entire facilities, just to name a few. My work has become even more tangible since joining our Forward Deployed Engineering team. Here, I work with customers daily to get them up and running with Revel, build features to unlock new capabilities, and collaborate closely with our killer team back at home base to drive further development of our platform. Give me a shout, let's talk!

Impulse Space is on a mission to accelerate humanity's future beyond Earth. To get there, they are building the spacecraft that will advance the orbital economy, and need to test as fast as they build. Before Revel, standing up a new test stand took 1–3 weeks, first-time deployments could take up to 3 months, software changes required looping in a specialist, and the team was locked into a single DAQ ecosystem. Now, stands are up in days, sometimes even hours. Engineers self-serve on sequence changes, the program runs multiple test fires per day instead of one every other day, and with the ability to mix and match hardware across vendor ecosystems, the team saves over 100x on hardware alone. Today, Revel runs across hundreds of Impulse assets — engine stands, vacuum chambers, avionics test stands, facility monitoring, and more — creating a single codebase that can be maintained and deployed consistently at scale. Thanks to Thomas Mueller, Eric Romo, Dane Sarcone, Julia Vyborny, Trevor Hanken, and the rest of the Impulse Space team for the partnership. Full case study is linked in the comments.

🌌💫Space isn't getting any smaller.💫🌌 Today, we're excited to announce our $500 million Series D financing, bringing our total raised to over $1 billion. The future of the space economy will require the ability to move payloads precisely between orbits, support lunar operations, enable national security missions, and connect destinations throughout the solar system. This funding will help accelerate the development and production of the in-space mobility infrastructure needed to support that future. We're grateful to our customers, partners, investors, and the incredible Impulse team for bringing us to this milestone. The next chapter of the space economy won't be defined solely by getting to space... It will be defined by what we can do once we're there. For more details: https://lnkd.in/eMjCCJuy If you want to be a part of the future of space, you can find our open roles here: https://lnkd.in/gSGdsQmP

Big things ahead for Radiant as they prepare for full power testing at INL. Revel's customers are tackling some of the most ambitious engineering challenges in the world, and we're proud to partner with the Radiant team as they build the future of nuclear.

Radiant is preparing and training for a full power test at INL, and we are the only company doing that. We don’t stop at going critical – because a zero-power critical reactor is not a reactor that is able to produce electricity. We are de-risking and testing for a commercial reactor that is ready to work. That’s why we are focused on full power. That’s our difference.

We're thrilled to share that Revel has been named to Redpoint's 2026 InfraRed 100, which recognizes the most promising private companies defining the next phase of infrastructure. Most of the world's critical infrastructure still runs on software built decades ago. At Revel, we're building modern software to test and control the hardware systems that power the physical world. Honored to be included alongside so many exceptional companies redefining infrastructure in their respective categories.

500+ founders. 1,500+ nominations. 100 companies. The Black Flag 100 is back 🏴☠️ The premise is simple. Founders know who's building the next great companies, so we asked them one question: "Which early-stage companies are you most excited about right now?" (Only rules: Out of stealth in the last two years, not on last year's list) We tally up the 100 most-nominated companies and the BF100 for 2026 is ready to set sail. The list also celebrates the great investors backing these companies. Here's what they're building: 🛡️ 27% Defense 🚀 22% Aerospace 🤖 22% Robotics & Manufacturing 🧠 19% AI And where: 🌉 40% Bay Area 🏖️ 20% SoCal 🗽 18% East Coast 🤠 8% Texas Hard tech. Hard problems. The next generation of critical technology, being built mostly on the coasts and increasingly everywhere. To every founder on the list, and every founder still out there chasing storms over certainty: keep building. We need you. It's a pirate's life 🏴☠️ Full list in the comments.
