Closing a HEDIS gap rarely comes down to one big feature. It's a dozen smaller ones like a tracking link that answers "where's my kit" before a member has to ask, a dashboard that gets your team to an answer in one click, or a workflow that used to need an engineer and now doesn't. This quarter, we shipped eight updates built around exactly that idea. A few highlights: real-time shipment tracking is now live inside the Portal once a sample ships to the lab. The Client Portal dashboard got a rework — the order status chart is now interactive, a new heat map shows order volume by state, and you can filter by normal or abnormal results, not just "results ready." A new "kit returned to sender" status flags delivery failures automatically, so your team knows before a member does. We also started rolling out Ash Assist, care coordination at scale that helps cover outreach volume most call centers can't match on their own. Care gap data doesn't have a visibility problem. It has a coordination problem. Most health plans already have what they need to close gaps faster — claims, clinical records, pharmacy and lab data. It's just scattered across systems that don't talk to each other, which turns quality season into a scramble instead of a steady process. Our partners at Innovaccer just published a piece on how AI is starting to fix that: unifying fragmented data, prioritizing outreach toward the members most likely to respond, and activating every channel — provider, pharmacy, at-home testing — at the same time instead of one after another. That last piece is where Ash comes in. Our at-home testing is now integrated directly into Innovaccer's Galaxy platform, so results from Ash programs flow straight back into a plan's existing data layer instead of sitting in a separate system waiting to be reconciled. Worth a read for anyone building a gap closure strategy for this measurement year or beyond. Read → https://lnkd.in/gdVwU3vX #HEDIS #StarRatings #HealthPlans #GapClosure

The window for closing key care gaps is shrinking and MA health plans looking to move the needle on quality metrics before end of year need a solution that acts fast. Ash QuickStart was built to solve that problem. It's a faster way into gap closure testing: the same clinical rigor and full white-label depth as our core program, running on templated workflows that cut configuration time way down. Four of the highest-impact HEDIS measures are included — colorectal cancer screening, kidney health evaluation, HbA1c testing, and chlamydia screening — and plans can be live in weeks, not months. That means results inside the current measurement year, not the next one. Same compliance standards. Same white-label branding. A shorter runway to get there. If your plan wants to see what gap closure looks like before committing to a bigger build, QuickStart is where to start. Take a look: https://lnkd.in/eQijVXcQ

Member experience measures are some of the toughest to move in HEDIS and Star Ratings, and most plans still treat kits as pure fulfillment. We're joining ACAP's CAHPS Survey Improvement Vendor Showcase this Wednesday to talk about what changes when the kit experience carries the plan's brand from box to results. Worth the hour if CAHPS performance is on your radar this year.
Member experience has become increasingly important in health plan quality measurement: quality incentive programs and plan quality ratings are now tied significantly to measures that evaluate member experience. But most organizations find it more challenging to improve patient experience measures than to enhance clinical quality interventions. ACAP’s CAHPS Collaborative—now in its fourth year—brings together interested members to take a deep dive into understanding CAHPS performance and the drivers of improvement. Take a peek into our Collaborative with this Wednesday at noon ET through a free Webinar. Register here: https://lnkd.in/eDVx-3nE This installment of ACAP's CAHPS Survey Improvement Vendor Showcase features Ash. A little more about the Webinar follows. ===== At-home screening kits are becoming essential for closing care gaps, yet most plans treat them as a clinical logistics problem and miss the member experience opportunity inside the box. In this session, Ash will demonstrate how a fully white-labeled kit experience can turn a routine test into a branded touchpoint: members see their own health plan’s name on the kit, the instructions, and every follow-up, reinforcing that the plan is looking out for them—at a fraction of the cost of a standalone outreach campaign. We’ll discuss how this approach can support CAHPS-relevant member experience measures and how plans can use the same physical touchpoint to deliver additional messaging—including enrollment reminders—as CMS enrollment changes take effect. We hope you can join us Wednesday at noon Eastern, 9 a.m. Pacific. Register here --> https://lnkd.in/eDVx-3nE

Member activation is where a lot of gap closure programs stall. Kits go out, but if members don't return them, the coverage gap stays open - and Star Ratings feel it. Our newest on-demand webinar, Beyond the Clinic: How DBS Technology Is Solving the Member Activation Crisis, gets into why Dry Blood Spot collection is becoming a serious tool for health plans looking to close gaps at scale. Ash's Robyn Dietz (SVP, Growth) and Jack Hildick-Smith (Director of Operations) sit down with Marco Consiglio (Head of Product Management at Ahlstrom) to cover: ☑️ The clinical rigor behind DBS and why it holds up outside a lab setting. ☑️ What it takes operationally to bring DBS to scale across a member population. ☑️ Reaching rural and historically underserved members who don't have easy clinic access. ☑️ How it fits into existing EHR and care management workflows. If member activation is on your radar for this year's HEDIS strategy, this one's worth a watch. Watch on demand: https://lnkd.in/gy8GzDk6

Cutouts, dual language, well-placed call outs, and a multitude of other features are in the works for our next kit overhaul. When it comes to closing care gaps, small changes can mean the difference between a test completed and a kit left on the kitchen table. We've sent well over a million kits to members across the U.S. and from every demographic. We use insights from these touch points to supercharge the member experience journey, all in the name of getting the test across the finish line and - more importantly - closing critical care gaps for some of the toughest to reach members. While digital methods like our multi-channel outreach and white-labeled member portals move the needle on completion, the physical experience is just as important. We'll have more to showcase soon, but we've learned so much in the last few years by listening to members and diving deep into the data. 💬 If you want to learn more about how we reach the unreachable, we'd love to talk: https://lnkd.in/eAkd9-yR

Not all dried blood spot cards are created equal — and picking the wrong one can cost you sample integrity, not just time. We teamed up with our partners at Ahlstrom on this one. Ahlstrom's Head of Product Management, Marco Consiglio, breaks down why the biomarker — not the assay — should drive your card selection: chemically treated vs. untreated, where plasma separation cards fit in, and why automation-ready formats matter once you're scaling a program. If you're running or building an at-home testing program, this is worth five minutes. Read it here → https://lnkd.in/gKna9CxG Questions on getting your card selection right? We're happy to talk it through. Just drop us a line 📝 #DriedBloodSpot #AtHomeTesting #Diagnostics

📸 After a very busy July, launching multiple clients, we finally got around to developing the photos from our annual Pride party! This party, every year, is a moment to step back, honor our origin, and celebrate everything we've been able to accomplish since then. This year was particularly energetic as we had a lot to celebrate and needed a big hoorah before everything ramped up in July. Stay tuned next Pride where, if all our hard work pays off, there will be much much more to celebrate 🌈

We launched several programs over the last few weeks - all for health plans looking to close care gaps before the end of the year. This is just a fraction of the thousands of kits going out to members across all 50 states. Several of the plans represented here were able to launch in mere weeks - and there's still time for your plan to do the same. Ash's power is our flexibility and streamlined infrastructure. We know what it takes to ship thousands of kits out the door, because we've done it. We know what moves the needle on kit returns - we've seen 2.4x completion rates. We know how important closing gaps in time for measurement is, because we've worked with plans fighting against the clock. If you're a plan that needs to boost quality metrics across KED, CRC, and more before the end of the year - we'd love to talk. ⏰ 15 minutes: https://lnkd.in/ekqcUjQq At the end of the day, a completed kit is more than just a quality metric, it's equipping members with the ability to take charge of their health journeys. #HealthPlans #MedicareAdvantage #GapClosure
