  • Meet Harry Toor 🚀 Harry joined Picogrid as our Director of Growth last year, bringing nearly two decades of growth and strategy experience across defense and national security. His background spans leading multi-million-dollar capture efforts for Defense and Intelligence clients at Booz Allen Hamilton and Accenture, and leading business development at various DefenseTech firms. Harry also worked in global policy engagement for an open source foundation, and he’s an Angel Investor. Harry's impact is immense. His focus is less on any single deal and more on shifting how the market thinks about interoperability altogether, so that customers stop accepting "this can't be done" as an answer. He builds the pipeline and customer relationships to deliver open architecture capabilities into the hands of warfighters faster while pushing back on the industry's default assumption that systems can't or shouldn't talk to each other. "Our team respects one another, which means they respect the premise of what we are doing every day, and more than anything, they respect the end-user. My role is to help set aside customers’ well-engrained notions that: this too, cannot be done. Picogrid is here to prove that the total sum of American ingenuity is greater than any one company." We're hiring alongside Harry's team as well as across engineering, business development and operations! You can find out more in the comments below.

  • Picogrid is helping turn live drone feeds into faster threat awareness. This summer, we supported the collection and analysis of full-motion drone video alongside soldiers in the field. We helped soldiers identify potential targets faster without relying on a constant connection to the cloud. Read MAJ Ziller’s full piece in the comments below.

  • Picogrid was recognized in the inaugural All-World Defense 300 under Mission Software & AI / Arsenal. This recognition is a huge testament to the technology our team is building, and to the customers and partners shaping it alongside us. The battlefield is filling with new technology, but too much of it still doesn’t talk to each other. We build the integration layer that allows operators see clearly, act faster, and trust the systems in front of them. Thank you to Future Union and the Allied Defense League for the recognition! • Meet Jazmyn Pelayo 🚀 Jazmyn is Picogrid's Office & Culture Coordinator, joining in June 2026 to lead our office and employee experience. Jazmyn brings an extensive background in administration, office, and event operations, having spent much of her career at The Walt Disney Company. As we've grown, it was important to us that this role go beyond traditional office management, we wanted someone who could help enhance the culture that makes Picogrid special. "It meant a lot to me that this was an opportunity to not only manage the office, but also help lead our culture. Everyone I met during the interview process was genuinely excited and passionate about what they're building. I knew pretty immediately it was the right fit." Jazmyn's first week on the job was our company-wide onsite, right as we closed our Series A. Since then, she's organized several Top Golf team outings, ice cream day, chocolate chip cookie day, redesigned our office guest experience, and helped strengthen our office safety protocols. In the next month she has planned a beach day, special team lunch caterings, and more team outings. Want to work alongside a team that values company culture? • We're proud to help solve some of the United States Space Force's toughest challenges. Picogrid has been selected to advance in the SpaceWERX Adaptive & Intelligent Space (AIS) Challenge. The challenge drew more than 300 submissions from companies and research institutions. As space operations become increasingly software-defined, interoperable infrastructure will be critical. We're helping build the software architecture that enables the next generation of space capabilities. Congratulations to the other teams selected, and thank you to HQ SF/S9 and SpaceWERX for the opportunity. Full article in comments below 👇

  • Meet Brenda Cartier 🚀 Brenda is a retired US Air Force Brigadier General and joined Picogrid last year as our Director of Government Solutions – Air Force. She leads the company's Air Force strategy and builds trusted relationships with senior military stakeholders to solve their toughest warfighting requirements. "Like my former special operations teams, our team at Picogrid is creative, daring, and mission obsessed. It’s a tremendously motivating group to work with." Brenda's path to Picogrid began in Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) flying AC-130U gunships. Intending to stay only a few years in the Air Force then return to civilian life, she discovered her love of the AFSOC mission and never looked back. With an active-duty career spanning 31 years, she served on numerous deployments to Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq and commanded at multiple levels both at home and downrange. She went on to serve as Director of Operations for Air Force Special Operations Command as a Brigadier General. ✈️ “After three decades in uniform, I joined Picogrid because I want to work with a team that is solving the integration problem I lived with for my entire career: making siloed sensors, effectors, hardware, and software work together as one system instead of a dozen disconnected ones." Want to work alongside a team with as much operational conviction as Brenda? You can find out more here: picogrid.com/careers

  • We hosted Georgia Tech Experimental Rocketry at HQ on Monday 🚀 The team started with a tour led by our incredible Production Manager, Yuton Luu, getting an inside look at how we build hardware in-house. Then, students sat down for a panel discussion featuring two of our cofounders, Zane Mountcastle and Dan Chirita, talking candidly about what it's really like building a start-up from the ground up. We're proud sponsors of the Ramblin' Rocket Club and love opening our doors to student groups. It's a chance to share real, unfiltered stories that you don't always get in the classroom. 📚 If your student group or club wants to set up a visit, we'd love to host you. We're looking forward to connecting with more students at Georgia Institute of Technology and other universities this fall! Curious about opportunities with us? Start here: https://lnkd.in/gYgH9ba5
