JetHost joins the ranks of Patchstack partners, now offering vulnerability intelligence and real-time protection to their WordPress hosting users. 🙌 As Metodi Drenovski, CEO @ JetHost says: "Our partnership with Patchstack strengthens our ability to deliver proactive protection to our clients. Rather than simply reacting to emerging threats, we can now help prevent vulnerabilities from being exploited in the first place." Excited for the future! 🚀 https://lnkd.in/dSynmUHQ

Our "State of WordPress Security 2026" report is now live! 💥 This year we took a step back to look at the impact of vulnerabilities rather than the overall numbers. We also teamed up with Monarx to explore how malware campaigns and techniques evolved during 2025. **Key learnings:** ⚠️ More high severity vulnerabilities were found in 2025 than in the two previous years *combined* ⚡ Median time from discovery to mass exploitation for severe vulnerabilities is just 5 hours ❌ 46% of vulnerabilities were not fixed by developer by the time of public disclosure 💸 76% of vulnerabilities found in premium components were exploitable 🥷 Increased usage of uploader scripts suggests attackers are adopting more complex strategies Read the whitepaper for the full insights ( 🔗 link in comments!)

Our annual State of WordPress Security (2026) Whitepaper is just around the corner. But...if you caught Oliver Sild on the WP Umbrella Agency Talks Webinar last week, you may have heard an early preview of one stat that made you pause. ⏸️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 ~ 𝟱 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀. If a plugin releases a security fix at midnight, on average, sites would be exploited before 5:00 AM. For years, the default advice has been: “Just keep your plugins updated.” But it's clear that this is no longer sufficient. Stay tuned for the full report coming soon. 👀 🔜

Join our CEO, Oliver Sild, Aurelio Volle, and Ben Gabler in a hands-on session about WordPress security for agencies today. See you soon! 👋 https://lnkd.in/daU3KN9U
Agency Talks: WordPress Security Framework Every Agency Needs in 2026 is a short, practical session for freelancers and agencies managing client websites. In 30 minutes, we’ll cover the security decisions that actually reduce risk in agency life, from what you should demand from a hosting provider (and what “secure hosting” doesn’t cover) to the minimum maintenance routine that keeps WordPress sites secure over time. To guide the conversation: Oliver Sild (co-founder & CEO of Patchstack) and Ben Gabler (Chief Product Officer at hosting.com, and founder of Rocket.net) will share what they see working in the real world and where agencies still get caught out. Bring your questions. You’ll leave with a simple mental model for “hosting vs maintenance” responsibilities, plus the common mistakes that cause incidents even on “well-hosted” sites. 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? Security webinars don’t have to be boring 😄 We recently joined forces with Modular DS to chat about WordPress vulnerabilities, real protection strategies, and how Patch & Protect works behind the scenes to keep sites safe. Lots of great questions for Héctor de Prada González and Lana Rafaela from their community, too! 👏 Missed it? Here’s the full recap + Q&A: https://lnkd.in/d5M6FsYe 💡 Educational webinars like this are a regular part of how we support our partners - helping make security easier to explain (and easier to sell).
